So why is his favorite basketball team not even going to make the NIT this year?

Fair point. It’s been a rough season. Injuries and some misses on recruiting targets. You better get your poo talking in now because it’s going to be awfully quiet from the haters next season when UNC is absolutely loaded.

you sound like a duke fan but it’s painfully obvious you didn’t attend duke - where did you graduate?

I'm just pointing out that you haven't been as good without all the fake classes and such.

They won a national title less than three years ago and will be early favorites next season. Are you a dook “fan” and what college did you attend. Simple questions. #ZeroToleranceFriday

Well you were an early favorite this season(#9 AP preseason ranking), and we saw how that turned out. Good luck with the early favorite thing!

College basketball in general is down across the board this year. No great teams or players. This hasn’t been a great year for UNC basketball but when your best player go downs for two months and you have to play walk on 4th string PGs it is what it is.

what college did you attend? Did you even attend a college?

If we are rebuilding then I hope Boston gets the $8M. If Bradberry gets over $12M, that would net us a 3rd and 4th/5th. Throw in Addison, Butler, McCoy and Irvin and that could be another 4 picks in the 4th to 6th range. A few others could net 7th rounders.

For a rebuilding team that would be a massive haul of potential picks in 2021. Trade up a few times in day 3 and you’re still talking about 10-12 picks which is something we could use. Even if some bust, we need more darts. I went through SF’s drafts from 2014-2019 and they averaged 10-11 picks each draft and even though the fired the GM before Lynch (he’s run the last 3), they still drafted almost 5 players per draft that are still in the NFL from 2014-2017. Almost everyone from the past two are still playing. The first GM made a lot of bad picks but still got Kittle in the 5th and Trent Brown in the 7th. Easier to do that with a bevy of extra picks. Both of those guys were 1 of 2 picks SF had those rounds.

That's damning with faint praise. Best on a really bad defense is not really good at all.

Tre is decent in pass coverage, but he's like a bullfighter when it comes to tackling. All he needs is a red cape.

I would rather address the safety position in the draft. This is where we will see who is calling the shots. The Panthers have rarely addressed the safety position in the draft (I can't remember when). If they go safety day 2, then I would say Rhule is calling the shots.

I don't think that's an accurate assessment.  I thought he was a solid tackler.  Eric Reid was the main piss poor tackler of the two.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
