I'd think he's in the 6M ish range at this point, his name still demands ''some'' respect (Bradberry is probably in the 10-12M range at market value), and while here he was talented, has ties to Hurney as the GM who drafted him, just depends on how full on go we are with a youth movement.

I would not be averse to his return, plus it keeps #24 on the field, he has familiarity vs all of the NFC South receivers as well.

The FA signings should tell us what to expect out of next season, keeping Cam we have the ability to create a pretty decent amount of cap, it'd be nice if we re-coupe the Luke money, I'm all for retiring to stay healthy, but we need that money back if you're not going to play for the cap.

    • I'm more curious if he can recover from his injury and still be a starting caliber olineman
    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
    • I'm more intrigued at him becoming our future LG. There were some people who thought he was better suited to be a guard in the NFL to begin with.  Then if Freeling ends up being a legit LT, moving Ickey to LG could give us an incredibly strong left side of our OL for years to come. Ickey has only played on the Left side his whole career, both in college and the NFL, so I just wonder if keeping him on the left side, even if shifting inside, would be better than putting him outside on the right side. Just hoping him growing up a Panthers fan will make him want to stay here and move positions than enter FA so he can stay at LT somewhere else, particularly since LT is the big money position on the OL, so he likely can get paid more by someone else to play LT than play LG or RT here for us.
