even more evidence 2020 will be a complete tank.

Dear Mr. Tepper,

Understand this.

You still have Marty Hurney on your payroll. Until that changes you don’t deserve the right to preach down.

Sincerely,

All Panthers Fans.

I cant believe he used the phrase Understand this. That’s just rude.

I really don’t think professional teams tank. I could be really wrong but I can’t see a bunch of players tanking for someone who may take their place . Anyway, success does take time but let’s hope is expedited. I can’t stand to watch another losing season. If so, I will be back on the green perfecting my sorry golf game lol

He actually said "winning programs." Which, we don't really have winning program here, FWIW.

I guess Tepper is going to be patient as Rhule and his staff figure out that the NFL isn't college football. This should be fun.

I'll take Tepper at his word until he gives me sufficient reason not to.

These next several months will be an interesting trial run.

As far as this tanking poo, do people really think he threw all that money at Matt Rhule and Joe Brady just for us to sit on our hands and watch the NFC and our division stomp us into the ground?

No but when it happens he’s already set up his excuse.

And at no point in the letter is he even considering giving loyal fans a discount to watch a product he knows might be sub par.. I just think you let poo happen naturally or you do a better job of covering up the tank...

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
