i'm only on episode 2 so maybe this is silly but something about this season already feels off? I feel like I should love it and anthony mackie is killing it so far but I honestly got bored and turned it off. 

 

maybe it picks up?

I really enjoyed the first season , but I turned it off as well.

So Im a solid Anthony Mackie hater.  Didnt like him in anything.  Full stop.

I was wrong.  I was dubious to say the least when it was announced that he would be the new Takeshi. He didnt have the subtelty to pull it of. 

In season 1 it took me a few episodes to buy into Kinneman, but I was on board from ep1 with Mackie.  He was able to capture the essence that Joel put into Kovacs in a way that I didnt think he was capable of.  I could see the "same" character behind different eyes.

 

Good stuff.

 

Different from the Morgan trilogy but fuging solid story telling and world building.

 

Cant wait for Season 3

Dude. I am not a TV watcher or binge watcher. I’d rather be reading or playing video games. Altered Carbon is the fuging poo. It is my favorite show I have seen in a long loooooong time. It’s just amazin and Joel Kinnaman is a great actor.

The Killing (great beginning, not so great ending)

I’m really pissed at the show runner myself for not doing it according to the second book. Ya ya way to much for their budget? Then split it into two seasons and accomplish Book 2.

Hell even do it slightly differently on another world but the fact they went back to Harlan’s World really rubs me the wrong way. I knew it was coming though from the changes made in season one.

Book three is Harlan’s world. It is the best book in the series. I’m really worried we aren’t going to see it in all it’s glory. 

I do love Anthony Mackie as the new sleeve choice. I was really hoping to see him on Sanction IV. 

A thing I think a lot of people are pissed about is the fact Joel isn’t back. They don’t understand how things in that universe work. Even if he went back to earth there is almost no chance it’d be the Joel sleeve this time.

That’s how this universe works. The show runner fuged it up though from what I understand so far. I Haven’t watched it yet so I don’t know where Kovacs ends up. But I’m worried they aren’t going to sleeve flip next season since he’s on Harlan’s world already.

      We have our own issues with Bryce but it’s crazy how this franchise was dragged through the media the last 2 years for missing out on CJ Stroud and Caleb Williams   *whispers* Bryce played better than both of them in the playoffs the real mistake was mortgaging the future for Bryce when Drake Maye could have been there the next year

      O-line: 1 major player for Tackle (draft or FA) and a Center (if we don't resign Mayes). WR: Low pick or good FA signing? D-LIne: Def need a NT and a DE/OLB who can rush the QB. FA or Draft? TE; I don't know what they want to think of what they do? MLB: I think it's out 1st rd pick, but getting another in FA wouldn't hurt, thoughts? DBs; We need another sticky QB to play more man when needed. Again a 1st or 2nd rd pick IMO.  S: Everybody says we need a rangy centerfielder, draft or FA? Would you take one high in the draft? I don't use players because there are no guarantees who's there, just asking what makes sense. We know they'll fill "all" the holes in FA and then draft, so which FA are the better ones and which are just 1 year fillers? My thought: FA - Big DT, DE/OLB & MLB. 2 of 3 as those take a which to develop. Draft: MLB or Tackle, DB in the 2nd, DE/OLB in the 3rd. I think they need a solid T if Icki doesn't return better than before and Moton is getting old.  I also think thy need to resign BC on the O-line.
