So you guys wanted to draft a T at 7, which would've moved Little to guard anyway.

But are now mad that Little is moving to guard because we traded for an LT?

No. We're mad that we traded up to take a tackle in a weak tackle class that's being moved to guard, something we could have gotten with our 3rd rounder we traded away and gotten our future center at 47.

Instead NO gets better and we look stupid, again.

Sooooo if we left Little at tackle, people would be mad we didn't do enough to protect Cam. You'd still be harping on about NO getting better because they took a player we didn't.

If we drafted a tackle, we'd be mad about sliding Little to guard, saying he's a waste of a pick. You'd still be harping on about NO getting better because they took a player we didn't.

But here we are, trading for a stop gap tackle and moving Little to guard. People are mad because we wasted a pick, even though there's a huge precedent of players moving to guard then playing tackle later. And you're still harping on about NO getting better because they took a player we didn't.

So he was well regarded as a HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER.

I’m sure that took all of the NFL talent evaluator’s breath away.

Kyle Allen was one of the nation's top high school QBs too.   A lot can happen between high school and the NFL.

Yeah, I'd still be harping on it and I will continue to do so. Little was not a day 1 pick. That was Hurney's grade on him. Picks that high are supposed to be able to start day 1. Little has looked like a late round OL.

Trading up to get a tackle in a weak tackle class when you have glaring holes on the interior is monumentally stupid, especially when the draft is loaded with IOL. The entire 2019 draft was just another missed opportunity.

At the end of the day we need to protect whoever is playing QB, but a big part of that comes with recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of the draft. Last year should have been IOL because it was a strong deep class. This year should be tackle because it's the best class in years.

I'm not pissed off about Little, I'm pissed off about the logic. When a message board is calling picks more accurately than your GM, there's an issue.

I'd be happy to take a tackle in the first. Bechton looks like a beast, but there are others if not him.

    • Ya'll.....look at Stafford without his feet set. This is why people in here talk about Bryce not having elite abilities mattering when plays break down. He cannot make these kind of throws with his base not being set.
    • Pretty much going to play each other the same way.  Stop the run let the bad QB try to win the game. It will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes.
    • From the Charlotte Observer   1. quarterback Bryce Young has yet to earn a road win this season, and the third-year former overall No. 1 pick is 1-15 on the road as a starter for his career — which is tied for the worst record over 16 games in NFL history. 2. The Jets, meanwhile, haven’t won a game yet. But even still it’s tough to pinpoint their identity. 3. They’ve lost four of their six games by a single score — three games by two points, specifically.  4. Quarterback Justin Fields has flashed his propensity for playmaking at times this year — with the exception of his Week 6 performance where he only threw for 45 yards passing — and Breece Hall is a undeniably good lead running back having a solid year statistically.   5. The Jets’ team rankings aren’t too ugly either.     Their defense, specifically. That unit is ninth in third-down conversion rate (36.4%) and 10th in opponent passing yards per game (200.5).   Their Achilles heel to date, it appears, is their turnover margin (-1.2, 31st in the NFL).
