Also @WOW!!

I'd personally be huge fan of going (1) Derrick Brown (2) Justin Madubuike

Both are multi-tech, can move all over the line, one being 6'5 325 and the other 6'3 293.

Getting pockets to collapse quickly and effectively rattle the modern mobile QBs.  Speed rushers over pursue and can get put to the side if that interior isn't doing their job.  Would love to just hammer that interior out.  It makes things easier for the entire defense.  Perfect place to start in my opinion.

Stop with the tanking talk. If we were tanking we would definitely trade Cam and Trai would've been traded for picks rather than a 31 year old LT.

Rebuilding doesn't necessarily equal tanking.

It’s just a word. If we don’t go for a FAs and do trade Cam, you can call it a rebuild but it’s basically a tank job. Lots of teams have done it including us and if it’s a good draft like next year it’s usually been successful.

Also, maybe Turner couldn’t get us a pick. Sometimes a player swap when the players are about to get released is the best we could do.

I like building the front-7 defense but staying open for weaponry if there's someone too good to pass on.  If this means heavy defensive draft but maybe offense sprinkled in, that's how it shakes out.

FA comes first so I would target a few particular things to create the condition for a building block draft:

-Another offensive lineman.  Likely a swing type but a starter at LG.  Won't be a top one though but hopefully we can find better than GVR.

-A starting caliber CB that is realistic.  I think we're looking more at a Juston Burris type.  Younger, but won't be super pricey.  Could be part of the team long term.

-1 WR to allow for flexibility high in the draft.  Again, we're not going after top guys so I imagine we're looking at a Rashard Higgins type

This would allow us to build the front 7 and not feel things are getting neglected.  We have holes in every facet of the game right now.   I also think we're low key looking at TEs in the draft and hard.  Harrison Bryant & Cole Kmet are the two i love.

Good stuff.

- Don't be surprised if we simply re-sign Van Roten or Daryl Williams.

- Bringing in a guy like Taylor Gabriel or Travis Benjamin would make sense due to their PR abilities.

You cant tank for a QB. Theres just too many variables to get that #1 pick. And what happens if Trevor gets hurt like Tua did but can't heal? Then what?

Take a shot at our next franchise LT, protect whoever we have at QB (hopefully Cam), open the Brady playbook, light this mofo up.

And for fugs sake, give the fans something to cheer for.

Both him and Justin are 1st round talent along with about 10 WRs that will be primed and ready for #38.  Really think that's how round 2 shakes out barring a move there, although I think you HAVE to keep pick 38 considering the talent in this draft.  I think there's up to 40-45 guys with a first round grade.

All signs are indicating we aren't moving Cam. Some people will continue to desperately cling to that hope though.

Daryl Williams? Good Lord please no. I'd be fine bringing back GVR. Hopefully as a versatile reserve rather than a starter.

Yup.  By all accounts it looks like Cam is staying put.  BUT I wouldn't be shocked if we pick a James Morgan or Steven Montez late.  Wouldn't mind taking a late round gamble to see if one is better than our UDFA backup or XFL-level looking Grier.

Not familiar with Morgan but Montez is completely awful.

I disagree for a 7th rounder.  I'm not talking using valuable draft capital, just taking that late gamble.

Only as a UDFA. I live in CO and have watched plenty of his games. Dude sucks. His workout warrior numbers will get him drafted. Hopefully not by us. I'd rather throw that 7th at a kicker.

I like building the front 7 as well.. But my 2nd question is are you building a 4/3 or getting more pieces for a 3/4?? I think offense can use a FA TE, OG, and cheap vet WR signing.. Then middle round WR and OLine player in the draft..

I also think we might have to make a serious look at the secondary... Especially if Bradberry is gone..
