My sister and brother-in-law are getting tested as I type this. They've had mild fever/shortness of breath/cough/general fatigue.

I just came off antibiotics last Saturday for a "severe ear and sinus infection" and, after a day of finally feeling like I was getting better yesterday, I've been feeling pretty crappy again today. Feverish, post-nasal drip induced sore throat, body aches, and upper respiratory tickle/cough.

This is exactly the way I've been feeling most days since November. I'm still sticking to it being here even way back then. If I don't feel any better tomorrow, or if I notice further decline in my condition, I'll be trying to get tested as well.

I'm hoping it is allergies, but it has been going on since before spring allergy flare up, and I've never had allergies make me feel this cruddy.

Could be sickness and then allergies piling on. Being sick that long is abnormal. May as well go attempt to get tested just to know. It will at least allow you to be on higher alert if things turn on you.

96% of people who are tested, with symptoms, are negative for Coronavirus.

Lots of stuff going around right now, so hopefully you guys are dealing w allergies

On a side note, if we find out that this is like other virus attacks, then we will have a lot of Americans who are immune within 2 weeks.

I have thought already about what and where I could volunteer if needed.  But that would be after I get it and get over it.

Think our death rate as of now is around 1.28%

The malaria drug has everybody hoping

If I didn't have to travel for the next 4-6 weeks for work, I would totally do one of those studies to get it. fug it.

I think it's valuable to get tested just for peace of mind if nothing else. I know so many people with mild symptoms or nagging sickness that are worried to death about it, which all that stress makes their immune system weaker anyway. If we had ample amounts of tests, I don't blame anyone for wanting to get tested if they are ill and need the peace of mind.

It was part of the reason I mentioned having some 20 somethings in the military go through the 2 weeks and be coming up clean by next week.

Would be great for all the military hospital ships not to be having to worry about anything as they possibly work with people.  Anyway, I would volunteer for it if I were in the military and all my health records looked good

100% agree. Pretty good odds you would just end up with mild symptoms at that age anyway.

Nope, I still have a full head of hair. If I start balding I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

Once you get over the age of like 25 - if you choose to shave your head, and you are not bald or balding - it’s a bad look. Unprofessional IMHO. You have been blessed genetically to have a full head of hair you need to not spit in the hair gods face.

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
