Bye bitch. Go suck on Gettlemans balls. He isn't worth even 10 mil, good riddance.

LOL

While I don't think Bradberry is quite as bad as you say, I never thought he is nearly as good as some Huddlers would have us believe.

I won't say "Good riddance!" What I will say is "Don't let the doorknob hit you where the good Lord split you!"

With the salary cap increase, this is actually a fair deal for what he is worth.

While that may be true, I always wanted better, so it wouldn't have been a good deal to me if we had done that! I'm really glad we didn't.

I can all but guarantee you that Hurney will screw up our shot at some really good comp picks next year.

Good for James, he deserved it.  One of my favorite things about JB was the same feeling I had about Gross....may not be Joe Thomas, but I don't have to worry about that position all season....that's saying something on an NFL team, especially at those two positions.

I didn't expect Gettleman to pony up the $$$. That's a LOT of guaranteed money on a three year contract.

maybe he has finally learned that you can't just throw any idiot in a jersey out there at CB and expect to win.

I think not paying Bradberry is the wrong move.

I think there's too much football monopoly itt. I think the opinions overall are just a reflection that cb/secondary role are not considered important.

Well, you still need good cb to be a top team. You have to pay people something worthwhile in the NFL. You have to spend money. The space you make in the salary cap doesn't go into anyone's superannuation.

Sometimes you have to go overs. You might not like it in isolation as a transaction, but there more to it than that. Bradberry (and Worley) were used as justification to turf off Norman. It might have been Gettleman's decision, but the decision was made. "We" had to stick with it since Bradberry is a good enough player, even though Gettleman;s gone and the new regime wasn't responsible for it.

So the net action is that the Panthers have burnt off Norman (A Panthers product, SB & PB player), to have the Panthers be a stepping stone for Bradberry's career. Both likely Hall of Honour players (If anyone really gives a poo about that?)

Regardless of who's responsibility it is. It's only the Panthers that now lose out by not paying Bradberry. Sure we'll get another cb and train him up. But then he'll probably favour going to an opposition if the current regime continues to show they have no idea.

It's not the money for BB, it's the timing. Nobody is getting a big contract from the Panthers with a rebuilding year and all that dead cap money in 2020. I don't even think they pay CMC this year. We have to bite the bullet for one year to have a good future. Why doesn't anybody acknowledge that?
