Y'all are blaming tepper, but I am seeing a lot of Rhule here.  Is Marty covering the college scouts and Rhule digging through the NFL dumpsters?  These signings have high upsides and little risk.  It is what we should be doing.   I like today's work by the front office.

Think about this team going up against the saints, the chiefs or the 49ners. A bunch of backups are gonna get killed.

I look at these picks over the long term--get a stud RT now (Moton was decent to good--projects better to G, imo--you upgrade two spots in 1 pick).  If we want our QB to last, we need a good OL.  Most rookies are a liability anyway.  Why not get the best OT in this draft?  Move Moton to G where he will have to renegotiate contracts as a G, not a T.  Dirty pool?  No.  If he was better at RT than a college kid, he would have stayed there.  Rookie DTs are not going to help you that much---so why solve this year's problems with rookies at DT?  Wasting first rounders to try to fill immediate needs is not what a long-term plan looks like.  Just my opinion.

  However, the fact that DT is not being addressed is weird--we have 3 openings. 

I draft either a CB or an OT with the first pick.  A DT is my second round pick, and my third.  1000000 ways to look at this, so I am not saying I am right or you are not.

So we lose 4th and 5th Round picks in 2021 for Seth DeValve and Seth Roberts? fuging moronic. Hurney is so bad. He literally doesn’t care about extra picks or UDFAs. Other GMs use them to increase the amount of opportunities to improve team depth and find a gem.

This seems very much like what Gettlemen did in 2013, his first off season. Except for one BIG difference. Those players Gettlemen grabbed were being surrounded by a young talented core. Cam, Luke, Olsen, TD, CJ... while these guys will be surrounded by a core of Christian McCaffrey and...and... and... Shaq Thompson?

^^^^This! I have floated this theory around before (except at  RG...his natural side) and take Wills if OT is the desired pick at #7.  The better value at OT is on the right side.  I was made out to be crazy.  At least there are two of us now!
