Takes some of the sting away from releasing cam, good signing, but still don’t know if Bridgewater can push the ball downfield

He was 37th among all QBs in average yards per completion last season despite having the #3 ranked supporting cast and #6 protection rate.

He either can't throw the ball down the field or Sean Payton didn't trust him to throw the ball down the field which probably strongly suggest that he can't.

So much for rolling cap. We sign a WR to(basically) a one year $12 mil deal. How does this make sense if we are tanking or trying to have a boatload of cap???

I am getting the impression they are not trying to tank and that is extremely concerning.

Hurney isn’t trying to tank. Hurney is trying to save his job.

What are we doing as a franchise? I have no idea.

What about tanking and rolling cap??? I just.....I don't even know if they know what they are doing.

They’re stuck between trying to go 8-8 and 2-14.

Classic

Yep looks that way, if we go defense heavy in the draft than that seals it, you can disregard any Lawrence or fields talks cause we won’t be in the range for them

The title of this thread doesn't do it justice.

Too many folks sleeping on Robby as our WR1. After Amari Cooper, Anderson was the top WR available in FA. Say what you want about a one-trick pony or Teddy not being able to get the ball vertical.... Anderson is the best WR we have had on this team since Smitty. He, DJ & CMC are going to torch some defenses.

Anderson is the perfect compliment to Moore.

Together they can run an entire route tree effectively

I wasn't even on the side of tanking but they had deconstructed the team so much it was the only thing that was logical. Now....I don't even know what the hell they are trying to do.

Holy poo. Why? WHY??? I honestly think they(coaches/GM/owner) think that this rag tag roster of misfit toys can be a competitor.  That is hyper, hyper, hyper concerning.

    • Play point guard while throwing to… in 2023: Mingo - bust. Hurt/hasn’t done a thing in Dallas. Well on his way out of league  Chark - no longer in league  Hurst - no longer in league Marshall - hasn’t done a thing  Sullivan/Strachan - pretty much same dude. Both not playing  Thielen - hasn’t done a damn thing since he left Carolina  Miles Sanders - nothing    2024: Legette - rookie WR who still has no idea what he’s doing  Mingo - see above  Coker - when he did play/healthy he was solid  Thielen - see above  Sanders - bust Diontae Johnson - headache. Out of league. Failed on 12 teams in 2024 There’s more names but again all irrelevant and doing nothing in the league. This is the crap and turnover Bryce has dealt with the first two seasons. Given the type of QB Bryce is he stood no chance with these guys. We’re finally seeing improvement because there’s some consistency at least now. It would be nice if we could get Bryce a tight end worth a Damn so he could use the middle of the field more often. Plus we’ve had 10 different OL combinations this season as well or something absurd  What an absolute disaster this has been since the trade up.
    • I mean we are limited in our options realistically, Howell is a Baker esque player who put up 4k and 22tds in his one year starting... with no weapons and a horrible oline. Oh I'm sure out the gates he wouldnt have a chance vs teppers golden brycey but if we stumble out he gates again Canales may injury list him again to try and save his job.
