I wouldn't be mad if we moved on from him but getting a draft pick in return. 3rd would be nice. He's on the wrong side of 30 and has been injured and is coming back from injury. Don't see why they aren't giving him the Cam treatment.

I think they would if they could.  But Marty made that impossible this season.

I'm not sure who plays on the strong side at DE this year. The future looks good but we need a plug for the rookie to develope. Johnson took 3 years and this kid look more refined but still a year away from day 1 starter there.

KK's last year incoming unless he does a 180. Too much money and too little production. Not a good combo.

He will be here a season or two. His money is not really relevant when you look at how much cap we can free up at literally any time after next season. It's next to impossible to replace him currently because we literally only have two other DT's on the roster, one of which we just drafted.

Yep. That was kind of my point. Any time one of those guys gets winded, all hell is going to break loose. And ya'll thought last year was bad.......

That is one thing I don't understand about what some of these people are saying about this year's DL being better than last(this is currently, so we could draft some guys that change this). Ya'll realize that a lot of the starters/key backups on this unit were getting beat out by that horrible DL last year, right?

Would also like to point out, I still believe in Christian Miller too.  If these top 2 picks pan out, we could go from 31st to top 10 defense in one season's time.  Also, Chinn is gonna be a baller, I out money on it...  he has the potential to be the greatest safety to ever play for us.

A warm body would replace him adequately at this point. I would not be shocked to see a DT today who has the potential to play more this coming season if something doesn't change. Maybe the new coaches light a fire, it sure would be great but I'm not expecting it at this point.
