To be honest both Hurney and DG drafted some really good players for Rivera. He just couldn't develop them. It's why Hurney should have fired him. We honestly haven't had a staff that could develop players since 99.

Honestly I didn't remember that. I kind of slipped on sports for a year or 2 around the time we let Worely go. I was traveling for work and just super busy. Good info. :)

The 49ers are declining the fifth year option on former #3 overall pick Solomon Thomas.

Thomas was expected to be a huge deal when he was drafted but it just hasn't panned out. Teammate Nick Bosa has proven significantly better.
