Comparing Jordan's practice demeanor to a Panthers player...

You can’t compare anyone to Jordan, the only Panther that comes remotely close is Luke Kuechly. Jordan lived basketball, dedicated every minute he could to practice and film. Luke did the same, he knew if he gets better - everyone around him would too. Luke’s on field/off field persona reminds me of a younger MJ as well. Ferocious on the field, but humble and calm off.

Again, huge MJ fan here, but... LOL!

The golf and gambling was just a manifestation of MJ's ultra-competitive nature. That same ultra-competitive nature that makes a lot of sports GOATs great in sports oftentimes doesn't manifest as positively away from sports. It's the biggest difference between MJ and Lebron. MJ had it. Lebron doesn't. Kobe had it.

Like most of you I have been watching The Last Dance.

If I was forced to pick a Panthers player over the years that most closely resembled Jordan's practice demeanor of hard competition and critique, it would be Thomas Davis. Hasn't ever been a more competitive Panthers that also was all about making others around him better

It's amazing how if Steve Smith punches a teammate he's a bad person, but if MJ does it, he's just competitive. The disrespect people have to our all time greatest player is amazing.

Disrespect? He was a great player but a very very shitty human being. I’ve interacted with him on many occasions, probably more than anyone on here and will confirm he’s a POS and treats random people like garbage and has done so all the way back to his time at Utah state. But I won’t get into that.

Also he punched multiple people. He shattered some guys face and blinded him, ending his career and crippled him for life. He ended up paying him a poo ton in a lawsuit. But how much money would you take for one of your eyes? Didn’t make up for it.

You don’t get to act like that in life and be able to say you want respect too. Doesn’t work like that. I have zero respect for people like that, it’s not the same.

And if he didn’t want people talking poo about him should’ve thought about his actions beforehand, respectable individuals do exactly that every single day. I’m sure he thinks he’s exempt for some dumb reason, but in realty he isn’t, no one is.
