I thought/think the hope was that he could get some valuable time in to build some experience up whether backing okung up or playing guard (which I never understood why).  Now calling him a project seems like a best case scenario with him.  I may be mistaken but wasnt being motivated a knock on him coming out?   Freaking hurney and his trading up.

But again the to the bigger issue is that the basic depth on the oline is already evaporating.

Did anyone read the article??

They said it's the active PUP and that it wouldn't be long-term. Okung and Moton are the starters and this year was going to be Little's year to learn from Okung and back him up. All of the talk of Little going to LG or RG was silly. 

This announcement doesn't do anything to Teddy, CMC, the offense, etc. Just slows down a "growth/learning curve" year for Little for the early part of the season....if that even happens.

Do not draft any player with motivational issues--but these OL who do not report in shape get hurt easily.

    Always the same story on the Huddle. When someone tells you a player like Little has serious motivation issues, people just attack the poster and call him negative and biased. Now, when it becomes obvious, folks act like there was no way to see it coming...lol. 
 

    Same as the Gano situation. That outcome was predicted by people on here during that whole process. But once again, just deemed “negative” when in reality it was absolutely correct.   
 

    Is “negative” a new slang word for being right. It sure seems to be how things play out on here. I’m just glad it doesn’t matter to me anymore except for laughter.

I keep forgetting we got rid of Turner. Our interior line is going to be the worst we’ve ever had I think.

      Option 1 is most likely. Even if he kills it this year, it wouldn't be prudent to rush an extension for one good season. If you have to pay him more because you waited another year, then he earned it. And that's OK. Adjust accordingly.

      Cam had the advantage of having a very strong supporting cast his first 2 seasons. Things definitely worsened later on. But those first couple of years can kill a QB. Some never truly recover. If they do recover it takes years, and usually with another team. Trying to learn to be an NFL QB with TEs and WRs that are trying to learn too is a recipe for disaster. Imagine if Cam's rookie season was that 2014 offensive squad. Changes everything! I said it when they moved up in 2023. This team wasn't ready for a rookie QB yet. Anyone that thinks Stroud would have been a lot better is delusional. The correct formula is to build a strong team and then you go get your rookie QB. Not the other way around. BY is going into his third season and we're still trying to put a respectable group of WRs and TEs around him. I think they have the right personnel now. Unfortunately they haven't developed into actual NFL players yet.  This season we should expect consistency and aggressiveness from BY. Mostly for his development but also to DEVELOP his young cast.

      It is goofy how some people hate Bryce so much that they're flat out lying to try and remain entitled to their pessimism. It's insanity. Most fans are realists and eagerly awaiting the season to see if we get pre- or post-benching Bryce to start the season and how much he is able to do with some young and developing weapons. Many of us understand that these young guys are going to have growing pains on the job as well as the new defense, but the fans with all of the excuses for why Bryce can't be successful are pounding the no excuses drum. Personally, I'd prefer the Keep Pounding drum.
