Definitely interested to see how Brady uses Samuel. I've always felt like we could be using him in more innovative ways given his background. I'd love to see some formations with him and CMC in the backfield together. Both could potentially take a handoff, be a receiver out of the backfield, or motion out wide.

I hope this year the offense is fun, win or lose.  Chud really was a shot in the arm (along with Cam) in 2011 bringing an innovative offense before he got too cute in 2012 auditioning for a HC job.

I've got really high hopes for Joe Brady and what he can do.  I doubt he will be here for too many years, but hopefully long enough to see some success.

Hope it doesnt play out like the last 170 LB KR we got form the jets, Greg Dortch was not ready.

I had completely forgotten about him.  Add him to the pile of WR's we've tried to get behind in lost seasons to find some excitement.

I hope Brandon Zylstra can be different.  In an otherwise forgettable game last year against NO, he made 2 of the top 10 catches our WR's made for the year.

I really like our WR depth, and I think Brady will have a good plan to get them all involved.  Just hope our Oline is not the abomination it was for much of the 2nd half of last year.

With a roster of 80 and being able to keep 16 guys on the practice squad, up to 69 of these players could be on our final group of guys. Hurney was saying with all the time it takes to get folks in the building and clearing Covid protocols, replacement players are more likely to be from the practice squad versus signing outside guys once the final 69 get determined.

    • No, I’m sorry but the Huddle gospel was that Moore was worthless and was only on the roster because he was butt buddies with the HC
    • The Panthers did a great job of countering the Falcons' pass rush in the run game. They utilized veteran wideout David Moore, a good run blocker on the perimeter, as the motion man to help with crack-toss plays and trap blocks. It was also interesting to see more Sean McVay wide zone concepts in Canales’ version, especially with the “insert” concept that is a table in these systems.   Second-year cornerback Chau Smith-Wade didn’t come out of the gates hot, but settled in and put forth a fine performance. His spacing in zone coverage tightened up and it began to have an impact later on—like on his pick-six of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. He also showcased good matching capabilities while having some impressive man reps and tackles in space. You have to appreciate how well Ejiro Evero’s defense rallied to the football. Some runs that would, in the past, go for chunk yardage were contained. Tackling was improved on all three levels of the field. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was once again the leader in receiving yards (48) on Sunday, but he struggled away from the box score with a couple of drops. As head coach Dave Canales noted Monday afternoon, the Falcons did a great job staying in phases on McMillan, especially at the top of routes. Rookie safety Lathan Ransom showed more flashes of control as a tackler. He continues to show the physicality that is needed in Evero’s defense while having the athleticism and downhill burst to click and close sideline to sideline or north/south. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/09/23/panthers-film-review-falcons-week-3/86308214007/
    • Horn + Jackson + Smith-Wade might be the best CB trio we've had in a minute.
