As soon as Anderson gets by the CB, Teddy let's it go right to where Anderson needs to catch it as Abrams comes in (at a bad angle no less).

Was a 25yd ball that was on the money.

Deep ball stats are typically looked at as 21+ air yards (ex: https://www.nfl.com/news/dak-prescott-russell-wilson-headline-nfl-s-top-10-deep-passers)

This was an accurate deep pass where the QB saw the WR burn his man in cover 1 and let it go to where only Anderson could get it with Abrams (who at 205lbs and has been clocked running the 40 in 4.45sec (damn near 20mph)) coming in hot.

Rejoice! Teddy can throw an accurate deep ball when he sees the opportunity present itself.

Yep!

Teddy put it where it needed to be which allowed Anderson to break back inside and past the safety. That’s where that ball needed to be despite what the mouth breathers on this board will tell you.

They'll try to say that the placement was bad because Abrams could get there sooner, but that's because they don't understand football and how Ian Thomas' route held Abrams in place to allow the pitch and catch.

Foles and Mariota are making less than half as Teddy. You cannot definitely say Teddy is better than either of them

And Im damn glad we are paying Teddy this and not them. Teddy what?? 3rd lowest paid veteran QB and you are upset with that? Admit you didnt know before posting at least.

I still remember back in 2013 when people were complaining about the ball placement of Newton’s game winning TD pass to Hixon.

The people bashing the Teddy throw are the same people that spent all off season bashing him and are trying to save face now.

You're not going to be paying a starter that cheaply in this market.  Remember, Foles' initial contract was $88 mill, $50 mill guaranteed, with incentives up to $100 mill.  I would still rather have Bridgewater now than Foles now.

It is also worth noting that Teddy was the guy that came in penciled as the start. Mariota and Foles (in their current situations) did not.

Come on dude its Monday. Were really going to compare a Super Bowl MVP to someone whose CAREER HIGH is 14 TDs in a season!?

Teddy isnt a scrub but he’s a B level QB at his best

Foles has never succeeded outside of his time in Philly.  And he has gotten opportunities to do so.

And what’s wrong with having a “B level QB”?

Enlighten us, name all the QB’s you have graded as “A level”

Teddy is more consistent but Foles at his best is better than Teddy at his. I think both need to be surrounded by elite players and coaching to succeed though.

Foles got $44 million guaranteed by the Jags at signing which is why the last few years look decent. The Bears had to trade a pick to get him during the better part of the contract. Mariota is a back up and knew he was going to be one when he signed his contract.
