I thought Kirkwood had a broken clavicle or collarbone or something else that starts with c.  Have you seen him out there doing work on the side?  Will he be available this season?

Well, he did and they still are keeping him around. Tells me they really like him.

No, but you dont make a super bowl run without establishing a winning tradition.  Remember, EVERYONE wanted us to tank at the end of 2014 for a better pick, instead we fought back and created an identity that would carry over into our 2015 superbowl run.  Point is, we can rebuild, but still establish who we are with our teams core.

Difference between that, and now? Rhule and Tepper want consistency. Not Ron Rivera bull s hit. We need a QB to build around for the future, Teddy B isn't it. EVERYONE knows this, but no one wants to say it. You get consistency by getting better players for the long haul. Not trying to go on one run, and hope for the best like that 2015 team did.

Every game matters.

Not when your team doesn't have the talent to win consistently. Which we don't. Even Tepper said that it will take a while to win consistently in his letter to the fans. Winning 5-7 games does nothing for this franchise in the grand scheme of things.

Get better talent, then the consistency starts. Don't settle for average, go on one run (if that) ALA Ron Rivera and hope for the best. We've seen how that's worked under two regimes. Tepper wants us to have a Patriot/Steeler (in the 70's) like run. Not a John Fox or Ron Rivera run.

To me, it's not Superbowl or bust.  I'm proud of Panthers history, the ups and the downs.  If you just want the ups then go watch something else till the Panthers are in the Superbowl.

I'm fully expecting an abbreviated season. So if we had to have a rebuilding year, we couldn't have picked a better time for it.

For me, this season is all about seeing the players on the roster and what the Rhule game will look like. There's been so much turnover, it's almost like I started rooting for a new team this year. Or rather like starting to binge a new series after the one I've been watching for 7 or 8 years got cancelled. I don't know the story or the cast of characters. I don't know if the show is any good, or if it will start getting good when the writers hit their stride in season two or three. But I need to watch all of season one to find out what it's all about.

So you're content with average ass seasons, and not winning/getting to the playoffs/super bowl consistently? Well guys. I'm gonna log off for the day. I am way too sober for this.

Of course I want to win Superbowls and have cosistent success, but its not the be-all-end-all of a successful franchise imo.  If thats all there is to being a Panther fan to you, then I feel sorry for you

None of us are even guaranteed to wake up in the morning.

I am not interested in losing games in the hopes to maybe some day win games.

That is loser mentality. Don't give into it.
