I do know there's 3 QB's I would like in Lance, TL, and and Fields. I would prefer if we had a top 5 pick. I

What if I told you that you could still have a top 5 pick without crapping all over the Panthers every chance you get.

Just imagine.

Cool. Who is that? You have no clue. Neither do I. No one does. Could be the #1 pick. Could be #10. Could be #24. Pretty equal chance of all that happening.

So yeah. That is something you STILL do not understand. Not sure you ever will.

Until then, those of us with any sense know building a winning culture is more important than striving to be the worst losers.

With all due respect, I don’t believe that was the thought process when they used their first round pick on a QB the last time.

The Panthers have the right coach, perhaps the right staff and the only that seems to be missing is the franchise QB.

If the goal is to rebuild once and do it the right way, then the Panthers must take advantage of the opportunity to draft someone that has a higher ceiling. With that pick they also have the opportunity to mold them into the player that they need them to be for their system.

I swear, do you read my post? I do not crap on the Panthers. I legit called Jeremy Chinn Troy P 2.0 out there on Sunday. I crap on them when they win, because it does nothing for the future of the franchise. I love where the defense is headed so far, and I think the Coaching Staff is 10X better than Ron Rivera. But, I don't suck off Teddy B, because I know what he is. And I believe once these guys on defense grow, we'll be a QB and a few O-Line guys away from consistent 11 win seasons. I also know the long range game in this, because the Owner and the Coaching staff are saying the same things.

Again, I get it from your perspective. You need the clicks, so you want the positivity. I understand.

Hey, you posted a graphic of Teddy's passes and didn't make predictably stupid derogatory comments. That's clearly going keep the team from ever winning a super bowl.

But I do understand the cause for concern. I think a lot of it stems from a lack of confidence in Marty's ability to bring in talent without having them drop in his lap.

super well said.   marty causes anxiety

Yeah, that's a Ron Rivera mentality you guys continue to have. The Colts went from 2 wins to 11 because Andrew Luck came in the building. Did he build a culture of winning? LOL. Winning now again, does nothing but hurt the prospective future of the franchise. If you hit on a good-great QB in the Draft, you'll be set for years. History has proven that, and those QB's will create a winning culture. Regardless of what the weird posters on the CH want with the odd "win now in a useless season" mentality.

The Colts were 10-6 and were division winners the season prior before losing Payton Manning in 2011. So they already had a winning culture and pieces in place to compete. Qb was not their biggest need they made the decision being in position to draft the next big prospect at Qb to part ways with Manning and look towards the future. The Colts never made a Super Bowl with Luck. Meanwhile Payton played in two Super Bowl in that same time with Denver, winning one of them ugh.

There's no guarantees just because you have a high draft pick you are going to pick the next Payton Manning or Cam Newton. Sometimes you may get Joey Harrington or Sam Bradford. This team has greater needs than Qb at the moment, but if you guys are right about our lowly Qb state then we should be in contention for the #1 draft spot so no worry guys.

That's fair. But the value is greater to pick up a stellar QB there, than it is trying to find a diamond in the rough in rounds 3-7.

And he is on pace for 11 TD's and 11 INT's, so yeah. But, the defense has gotten better, as it couldn't be worse than week 1.
