Okung, Kerr missed practice

If Kerr’s out that could be a pretty big issue. We don’t really have another natural 3T on the roster. Brown, Roy and Hamilton are all natural 1Ts. We do have Obada who plays on the inside some but that is really only for obvious passing situations and I think he would get blown off the ball in the run game if forced to play there all the time. There is also Bruce Hector on the PS who is a pass rushing DT and will probably get elevated for the game but hard to expect much from him.

Honestly, I too think Kerr is the bigger concern.  Okung has been in and out this year, but Kerr has been consistently a part of that rotation and since Short went out for good, he's been playing pretty well.

not too worried about Little against the Falcons pass rush, but Kerr will be a blow.  I think we'll see a lot of Obada, and I'm a little concerned about their Oline with Gurley.

That's the only thing that makes that deal easier to swallow. Trai Turner is a mauler but they valued the cap space more for 2021.

We should really just sign him. Tampa Bay cut him before the start of the season so it’s likely he still wants to play and is in reasonable shape. I know he’s like the opposite direction we want to go as far as building for the future, but at this point we could really just use the depth.

Turner has barely played this year too, and when he did play he didn't look that great. That trade may not be a huge "win" if Okung can't stay healthy and we move on from him after the season, but I don't think it can be considered a "loss." And when Okung has been on the field he's been easily our best LT since Oher, not that that's saying much...

Okung has 298 snaps this season 

Turner has 81 and only played 1 game. He isn't mauling anything anymore.

Trai Turner was never good.  Period.  We won't miss him regardless of what happens with Okung, but when Okung is healthy, we got the far better end of that deal.  

It's prolly better for the Chargers that Trai hasn't been playing anyway if they want to keep Herbert healthy.
