He was borderline concussed behind an o-line that repeatedly allowed him to get pummeled all game and yet he came back in on the next series...doesn’t really scream “Just happy to be here” to me.

Happy to play the game

Feel like he doesn’t care about wins or losses - he just enjoys playing. You can tell by his interviews and the way he speaks about the teams he has played for.

it’s like he just wants to be known as a guy who loves football rather than someone who loves winning. We need WINS

thank you for reminding me of how people spent years complaining about how upset cam was when he lost. beyond the obvious underlying themes re: cam’s time here, i’m convinced this fan base just takes comfort in being dogshit with a couple “plucky underdog” seasons thrown in here and there. just total loser mentality.

This... needs to be said more. This franchise has been perpetually mediocre since inception sans a fairytale season or 2.

We needed more players (and coaches) with the cam mindset during his tenure

now it’s like a 180 we have a QB who is just fine with being out there

I don't see any evidence that he doesn't care about winning. I do see plenty of evidence that he isn't good enough to facilitate it.

Coming back in after the nasty ass shot he took to his neck doesn't say "I don't care" to me. Just the opposite, honestly.

With that said, I'm not so sure I agreed with the decision to send him back in.

It doesn’t say he cares about winning - it says he cares about playing football.

i think he's competitive and wants to win, i just am not convinced he's got the killer instinct of a guy who NEEDS to win.

we have a very limited view as fans but i haven't seen anything on tv from the guy that just screams at you the way it does guys like brady, rogers, cam in his prime.

Yup, been saying it forever, and it was especially bad before Cam got here...  I called them, the "well, there's always next year" fans.  There's far too many that are okay with just having a team.  I don't get it.

Yeah what turned me off was the Tampa game (I think) early on he was laughing/smiling on the sideline after we had just either turned over on downs or turned the ball over late in the game. It wasn’t like he was over the top or anything but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way and made me start to second guess his leadership style

Did you ever see MJ smiling and laughing when he and his team were playing bad? or were losing?

Have you ever seen Tom Brady doing that?

I like Teddy, but damn bro, you only be smiling and laughing when things are going good.

When things are going bad, thats not a time for it. You need to be pissed and dialed in, focused.

Killer mentality.

He was deadpan before he came here. Rhule told him after week one right before the week two game to be like what you are describing and bring that energy. You want to blame someone blame Rhule. The week two announcers did a huge expo on it.
