Wow, just got Bonnafon back, too...

The Panthers on Friday placed defensive end Stephen Weatherly and running back Reggie Bonnafon on the reserve/injured list. Both will miss the rest of the season.

Two good depth pieces. Ill say the team has done a good job with adding players to the practice squad, need to keep that up. I bet come 2021, 4 players form this years PS will be on the 53.

Sure you can, a finger injury can be played with a club(If this team was going for the playoffs), and Bonnafon is just to make roster space for who knows what. like I said I have a strong feeling that they tried to put CMC on IR again and he said no way. I really hope rhule doesn't get used to the merry-go-round that's been this years IR-DR list. Its a crutch right now but you can only lean on it so much.

I'll grant that Weatherly being out (ostensibly for the year) with a finger injury is unusual, but it doesn't necessarily signal shenanigans.

Oh no, don't get me wrong I don't see shenanigans. Just a poor grade on roster management this season even with the special list.

Cap hit of about 13 million this year for a team already extremely handcuffed cap wise. Not good.

If a guy has a legit injury and says he can't play through it they cant force him to play. 

I mean, Ronnie Lott would play, but...
