Minshew isn’t a bad QB. Don’t get me wrong. But there’s a reason why many experts have the Jags taking Fields next year. I want another elite franchise QB like Cam Newton. I don’t just want a good QB. We have one of them “good” quarterbacks right now in Teddy and we are seeing the results of what a “good” quarterback can only do.

Minshews rookie year is better than any year Teddy has had.

i voted lance.  if you watch him he's got super quick twitch muscles.   his burst in the pocket to get out of trouble rivals michael vick's.  its pretty unbelievable.   he's got a good arm, he also has great touch and can throw a blooper when he needs to.  but i'm good with wilson and i'm def warming up to trask.   dude is killing it.   at first i thought trask was weedon, but i've completely changed my mind.   i'm also good with trading back if we get a team with a hard on for a qb that wants our spot.

What makes you think they are going to draft a "first round" QB this year with so many other holes and a QB on a big deal for a few more years?

qb on a big deal is 100% a false narrative.  why do you even say it.  even if we had the #1 pick its still 40 mil/yr for 2 qb's.  40 mil/yr with a really good qb is the new normal now. well the new normal besides a possible shrinking cap from covid new normal which can't be accounted for

Any answer that isn't Penei Sewell is not the right answer(assuming Lawrence or Fields are off the board).

As of now it looks like 5 qb's are going in the 1rst.  I hope to God Brady is still around to A)evaluate them and B) sticks around for at least 1 season to tutor him.

1.Trevor

2. Fields

3. Wilson

4. Lance

5. Trask

6?. Mac Jones

Point is, if we want a qb in the first there should be one available

It depends on where we are drafting. Wilson I would consider, hard pass on Trask and Jones, Lance is intriguing but I wouldn't take him in the top 10.

If we can pick high enough(5-10 range) to get an elite non-QB, I'd go that direction. Getting someone like Sewell makes us better from day one.

Honestly, I doubt it. Teddy would just be able to take a little longer before checking it down. The Browns had the best LT in football for years in Joe Thomas and always sucked anyway.

I'm not at all opposed to taking a position other than QB if the board doesn't fall the right way at QB, but if we think there's a legit franchise QB prospect available, we need to draft him.

I'm hoping Wilson falls a bit, but with so many QB needy teams a head of us as of right now. Management needs to tell Rhule to let Bridgewater rest up this week.

Same usual suspects turning another thread into a Teddy thread. This place has become unbearable. Jeremy chose clicks over quality a few years back and it has finally caught up to him.

Now he’s got the same 3 posters posting the same things in every thread all day long.

I like both Wilson and Lance. Wilson throws the ball much like Kyler does. Changing arm slots and as if you were throwing a baseball. Lance has a ton of potential and has a ton of arm strength while making good decisions. If I had to pick today I think I’d go Lance.

I would agree if he didn't constantly say he wants to win. Predict the Panthers to win, and on occasion make unbearable threads about how Teddy Bridgewater is actually a good QB by showing his completion percentage, or some other shitty stat of his.

Building a winning culture is much more important than you think. If this staff is bad enough to go 0-16 it wouldn’t matter who our QB is.

I actually think it was important for this organization to try to win some ball games this year.

The little core group of guys that we have need to believe in Rhule moving forward and that belief/trust is built through winning.

I think it’s still possible we end with 6 wins. Detroit, Denver and Washington are all really bad. If a QB you love is sitting there at your pick take him but this roster is so deprived of talent across the board that we’re not in position to be reaching just yet.
