Meanwhile in NY

The Giants say it is, and apparently some of their beat writers are confirming such.

There was apparently a verbal dispute, but no fist fight.

I could not find any reference to a fist fight.  He may have gotten hot under the collar when he was told he was being let go, who knows.

You mentioned bringing him in this offseason.  Why wait?  He's available now.

Oh wait, were you talking about as a coach or a tackle?

He has no connection to Matt Rhule that I know of, so that's probably not gonna happen.

Yeah we won the head coaching search last offseason easily. NY will probably have nightmares about that plane ride for a long time.

Stefanski has done a pretty good job in Cleveland. Though of course that team has wayyyyyy more talent than us.

They got the GM candidate we wanted because we wouldn't take power away from Hurney.

That is not a fact at all. It's because we wouldn't give that guy full control of the roster. Many accounts have Rhule having more power than Hurney right now.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
