Mathew Stafford - A Carolina Panther?? (Wife pissed off about living in Michigan)

considering all the harrowing medical issues that family has faced, they're really an amazing story,  its hard to believe this is her take. really hard.

and imagine if all that stimulus money that went to fake businesses, banks, and on and on, what if that went to small businesses and people?  the stimulus package was so corrupt the current administration has kept people from seeing it.   i think less than half went to people, and more than half went businesses and org's that didn't even need it.  if you don't know anything about this look it up.

It’s called staying at the house. If you look at the CDC numbers this disease affects people with underlying conditions and people in the 65+ age range.  Why should 90% of the population lose everything for those numbers?
i bet if you owned a small business you put your soul and financial life into, you be singing a different tune.

Well, since the number of people 65+ & with underlying conditions likely far exceeds 10%, the point is moot...

But as a small business owner who put his soul into an incredible long shot in the live entertainment sector & it paid off, the tune I'm singing is Why won't people take this poo seriously? I'm almost 50 & I don't want to have to start a new career just because it hurts people's feelings they can't get a haircut

Oh boy here it goes....This thread will turn political fast with the usual freaks that seem so passionate I've laughed at for years lurking on here. Some of the politically charged people on here who seem so angry 24/7 should try actually making a difference politically in their local communities with volunteering to support what they believe instead of bitching and pissing at people for their different beliefs on an internet forum. The only problem with that is volunteering to make a difference instead of accusing anyone with different beliefs than their own of being "idiots, a-holes, bigots, morons, or evil" would take their fat basement dwelling asses some effort to do a little more rather than attempt to grab their internet pitchfork with the rest of their online click and go pretend they are making some kind of difference by arguing on the internet. It's been hilarious to see some of these people so angry on here the past couple years and seem so passionate ready to internet argue at the drop of a dime but yet being willing to put money on less than 5% of these so extreme politically charged jesters actually do anything in real life to support their passions and prove their worth is laughable at best. Not even going to comment ony opinion other than the fact that I often times don't even view the opinions on hot button topics such as this from multi millionaires many times over due to the fact that they live a lifestyle most of us would not understand and have things available to them 99.9% of society may not so it is hard to quite trust their opinions or perspectives due to the setting from which they come just by how vastly different their life experiences will be. It is nothing personal against them at all but those opinions hold no weight to me. Opinions however on both sides of anything whether I agree or not from anyone that probably lives a lifestyle more similar to mine on a daily basis I am more than happy to listen to if they are not thrown at me in a belligerent and goofy was as some politically charged clowns throw them out here. I absolutely love hearing the opinions of anyone I may be on the complete opposite side of the belief system of because I feel like it may be a chance for me to learn something from their point of view and a way to personally improve myself as a human being. Unfortunately I find myself in the middle on many topics as I can see where both sides are coming from so I get hate from the clown boy smart moutged tool basement dwellers on each side. I do however admit how much I don't know on many subjects so I love to learn the realistic non extreme and non clown opinions from people on each side of a hot button topic to see if I can develop a true stance not opinion of my own after educating myself on any topic.

What I think is awesome is that there is absolutely no way I will ever interact with and thus risk infecting at risk individuals.  My immune system is so powerful that everyone within one hundred meters will become decades younger and germs fry in the air like bacon.  You can smell it if you try, it smells like your pastors breath.

Tell that to..

This 4 year old kid whose parents died.

The family of this six year old who died.

The parents of this seemingly healthy 5 year old girl

Want me to post more articles of kids that have died from this disease? Who have in their short life had no underlying conditions?

This feels very cherry pickish.... more children have died in their homes from:

1. Fires

2. suffocation

3. drowning

4. Epileptic seizures

5. Suicide (due to cyber bullying)

than this illness. Those times above all happen in your home. Not saying COVID isn’t dangerous, I’m just stating that using children to drive sympathy with your argument and very minimal numbers doesn’t really drive a point home.

lastly, I definitely suggest taking a moment and reading about how keeping kids in their homes and not in school with their peers, is extremely detrimental to their long term mental health. This is just a good read. Let me find some stuff for you.  Depression is higher than ever, and more dangerous to the youth than this virus.

i am sharing this with you to help facilitate the thought process around COVID and kids. They are going through a lot, and bottling them up has a higher death rate than the virus itself

My only push back is ... why close local businesses when those who have already contracted the virus and overcame could put money back into the economy and keep these individuals afloat without putting people at risk.

well because the antibodies seem to disappear quickly and then people can become re-infected.  there are also slight mutations in the virus causing slightly different versions.   through something called 'enhancement' your immune system can be primed to get torn apart by the virus the 2nd time you get it.     it would be awesome if it was a one and done virus, but it just isn't that type.

what about other people and their freedoms, like their freedom of a healthy life. you don’t have the right to get other people sick.

That’s not a freedom. Every time anyone goes out into public they are putting themselves and their health at risk. Even more so during a pandemic. It comes down to personal decisions.

Also, there are people that will straight up lie that they've had it and are "immune." Straight up lie. To get a cheeseburger or a beer or a new tablecloth for the Thanksgiving spread. It's not like you get a tattoo on your forehead once you've survived it.

It's not about eliminating the virus, shutting things down, because that won't, it will still linger on. The shut downs are about spreading the virus out in a thinner layer so that our medical facilities don't become overrun like those in NYC everywhere. Here we are in the third wave and what we tried to avoid is happening. Part of it is an inevitability, part of it is human nature and desire. There's no good answer, but there are some wise moves and we'd better wise up if we want to survive, both healthwise and economically.

Oh, and Stafford? Old dude who has always played for bad teams. Let's take a hard pass on this one. Sorry for how you got drafted man, but you've got millions.

Many studies have shown for this to be very rare. We can’t ask people to lock theirselves up because there is a very rare chance they will get sick again. They have a better chance of getting the cold twice than COVID-19 twice.

according to many studies, there have been less than 1000 people in the world who have gotten it twice and zero deaths. It’s been a year now.  I feel more people will die from going homeless or broke (suicide included) by losing their jobs,

homes and businesses than people reinfected by COVID.

just an opinion with supported information.

Shut the fug up you capitalist scumbag.

Financial life isn’t life at all.

That goes for anyone else here that agrees with this trash’s hot take, too.

Ban me for saying it. Idgaf.

You should be banning morons that continue to post these takes in the wake of hundreds of thousands dead.

Ease up man, he stated his opinion. No need to get all worked up. Everyone has an opinion, no need to get mad bc it differs from yours. In the end, we are just taking heads with very little power on the decision being made anyways.

    • 6 pages of tuka and Seltzer arguing is actually 97 pages long
    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
