I don't think we're one of the 'worst' teams in the NFL.

One of the least talented teams, absolutely, but we're well coached - we make teams earn their victories over us. It's why we've vastly outperformed the roster.

Had the Lions had their offensive weapons it would have been a much closer game - obviously we could say the same if we had Bridgewater and McCaffrey.

We lack talent on defense.  The back 7.  That’s about it.

When I think of futility in the NFL, the Lions come to mind.  In 55 years, they have not even played in a Super Bowl.  Their last playoff win (they have 7 playoff wins in 90 years) was in 1991.  In the Super Bowl era they have had just 13 winning seasons. 

I hate it for the Lions' fans.  They support that team and deserve better.

We haven’t had CMC essentially all year.  Offense hasn’t been an issue.  Situationally late it in games it has been.  But we have been in every single game thanks to the O.

Well, our offense production disagrees with the claim it is bottom tier.  

We are middle of the pack in sacks taken.  Sack yardage. 
 

I’m comparing it to the rest of the NFL.  OL are outmatched essentially every game in today’s NFL.

This is another one of those places where I tell people the stats aren't telling you the real story and you need to watch what's actually happening instead.

Our sack percentage is low because our quarterback gets the ball out of his hands very quickly. And in the vast majority of cases, he has to or he's getting pasted.

That's not a good offensive line. That's not even a "not bad" offensive line. That's a "would get our quarterback killed if he didn't get rid of the ball so quickly" line.
