Got laid off due to COVID in May. I worked for NBC Sports and with the lack of sports being played the writing was on the wall. Got really depressed and stopped taking care of myself.

 

Anyway...

 

I'm a video producer & editor and I got a call from a Washington DC based company in early October asking me to do freelance work. Long story short I've been doing freelance work for them for 2 months and they just offered me a full time position last night. I'll be making nearly twice what I was making at my previous job and I'll also be a true Senior Producer for the first time in my career. It's a fantastic company with great people and clients and I'll be moving to Washington DC. I can finally breathe.

 

Anyway congrats to @ladypanther and to all of the people struggling keep your chin up.

      Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.

      Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.

      NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
