Rhule: I didn't want a play run before the 2 minute warning... The ball has to be thrown beyond the sticks on that 4th and 8.

I was thinking why are they running a play, now I’m thinking who called the play in? As far as Teddy is concerned, yeah on 4th down you gotta get the ball past the sticks, but there’s a whole lotta blame to pass around for this loss. Drew Lock damn near had a perfect passer rating....

Yep. Bridgewater doesn’t deserve any blame. He isn’t trash or anything.

I know a lot of people want us to sit Teddy but he gives us the best chance to lose to I say play him these last 4 games.

I’d argue Grier would do that. There is a reason he is a healthy scratch, and reason Hurney picked him (he is a Charlotte native which Hurney actually factors in for some reason - see Armanti Edwards).

But honestly other than Saints third stringers I’m not worried about winning another game no matter who the QB is.

That said, if Rhule sat TB and activated Grier to play the Saint’s third stringers, that would be one hell of a boss move.

I’m still wondering why this staff (and Hurney) thought Teddy was the answer at QB. All you have to do is look at his tape and you see a slightly above average Qb who needs a perfect setup around him in order to win. He’s not going to win you games when you fall behind, he’s not going to challenge defenses downfield, he’s going to take a check down on almost every single play.

Dude is a great guy, he’s someone I would want mentoring our future franchise Qb. He’s not someone i want leading this team.

This entire operation sucks right now. Rhule has been a total clown show since the first Atlanta game. His game management is worse than anything we saw under Rivera. Brady has been bad since game 1 and especially awful in the red zone. Bridgewater is like a less effective version of Chad Pennington. And I don’t know what the hell Tepper is doing but his record as an NFL owner makes me wish we had Jerry back.
