Thinking outside of the box ;)

What if we can trade a nice crispy 3rd round pick for Carson wentz instead of drafting a qb in the first . This could help us trade back where we can get a solid defender in the draft or draft a big playmaker in devonte smith which is projected as one of the best receivers ever in college football or Kyle pitts something we’re lacking a solid tight end . I feel wentz just needs a change of scenery. This is just a food of thought . Free agency sets off the draft . We could get capital if we trade back . Drafting a qb would be ideal but something like this can appear intriguing

It’s all about where you grade Wentz. He had that one MVP style season and has been downhill since. Remind you of anyone?

He hasn't matched that MVP season, but it isn't like Wentz was bad in 2018 or 2019.

I'm not sure about what his future looks like though.  He's gonna be 28 years old, has a history of injuries, and was quite possibly a bottom 3 starting QB this year.  I wouldn't touch him unless Philly cut him outright (doubtful) and we could sign him to a far more reasonable contract.

I’m not interested in him. It’s not his salary I care about that says no. It’s his and Teddys combined would be too much money for question marks.

Haha, that's not outside the box!

Here's outside the box:  Trade back, focusing on addressing areas of need other than QB... AND bring Cam back on a one year incentive laden contract.

Now that's outside the box. ;-)

You're forgetting one little thing, it seems Cam can't throw any longer that ten yards.

    • According to the Committee Chairman, losing a conference championship has zero effect on rankings. If you’re Alabama. But not if you’re JMU or Tulane of course. CFP Rules:  “Things don’t matter except when they do.  Also, see Appendix A) Notre Dame rules.”
    • How do the Panthers win Sunday? Playing disciplined D.  Shough can run.  He can also find open guys.  So our team is going to have to play really well and disciplined.  We're also going to have to hit him and move him around. We're going to have to run the ball.  That goes without saying.  It's our identity.  If the zone looks aren't working, then we need to go down hill battering ram to finish this game. We can't turn the ball over.  As we've seen, when we give up the ball early and often, we loose.   Finally - which Bryce do we get?  Do we get the guy who is ready to kick butt?  Or the guy scared of his shadow.   What's the vibe going to be?  Does he give up the football?  Or does he make some great throws with it? As Canales has stated, you don't get much better than "Guys, if we keep winning, we win the division and host a playoff game."  The guys have to know, and they are going to have to play their best football.  So this game is a test.  How ready are they?  Are they good enough to take care of business?  Or will the whole thing fall apart again? I'm not sure how I feel personally.  I want my team to do well.  You never know with a "dead" team like the Saints who would be more than happy to play spoiler to our ambitions of winning a Division Title.  I'd love for us to win, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we blow it and get blown out.
