Oh, who do you think is the better in his sport, and why?

And how does that affect my assessment of them as cocky dicks?  (note that one can be a dick without being cocky, and the reverse -- being both is indeed hard to stomach.)

LeBron joins a trash team - instant contender, if he leaves them then they are trash again.    He is one of the best in 21 st century in any sport.

Lebron joined a team without a co-star once - his first season with the Lakers - and they sucked, missed the play offs. He is great, no question. Yet it is "easy" to be great when you play alongside guys like Bosh, Wade, Irving, Love, AD, Ray Allen etc. LJ's ultimate strength is his immense recruiting power.

They just made a game plan and coached a game that could have beat the NFC leading team with a bunch of unknown scrubs and rookies  in week 16,  away from home in the cold,  had they had a starting caliber NFL  qb .  This with no preseason.  In their first season.  WTF are you talking about?

Another factor that definitely helped is one of our secondary coaches, Jason Simmons, was a defensive assistant for the Packers for nine seasons before coming here. It explains why Rodgers couldn’t find many open WRs and Adams was pretty much a non-factor. Our D kept us in this one and the coaches absolutely deserve credit for a brilliant game plan. Had it not been for an anemic offense and dumb mistakes, we may have pulled out the upset.

Due to salary cap, free agency and injuries this game is a revolving door for talent...........by the time you find key talent where you need it the other talent you nurtured and matured is gone........

To say this team is missing a few key position players to make the playoffs is what some teams have been saying for decades..................and some have been saying their entire existence when trying to get to a SB.

The most successful franchises in the current climate of trying to make the NFL a level playing field of competition make due with what they have..........there have been a number of SB winners with less than desirable QB play................

It's no excuse that you are one franchise player away from success.....................

I've seen some games that made me wonder if the coaching staff was regressing as it got later in the season.

This game was nothing like that.

remember last year when the niners jumped out all over the panthers, coming off a bye?

and the whole team and coaching staff was just like "oh well not our day" and quit before the first quarter was over?

he carried a terrible cavs team to the finals when their second best player was busy having sex with his mother

guy doesn't make the playoffs one time and you're acting like he's kobe

......the Panthers (4-10) held Green Bay to 49 yards and a field goal in the second half to make a game of it. It was the Packers’ second-worst, second-half output over the last 20 seasons.

Quote

The Panthers’ season-high five sacks tied for the most against Rodgers in a game over the past three seasons. Rodgers, in the midst of an MVP-type season, finished with a season-low 143 passing yards and failed to throw multiple touchdown passes for just the second time this year.

It isn't about the missed playoffs but his career by design approach. He never was on a real bad team and - more or less always - dropped out when things went south. Nothing wrong about it but pls don't tell me that this dude is carrying a bunch of nobodies to the championship every year, it's simply not true.

between draft and FA get/upgrade

QB, LT, G, TE, MLB, CB, S

and we're an dangerous team.

get even half that list and we're a wildcard threat

So you're saying if we basically get half a team of good starters we're  a Playoff team?

Bold prediction.

You missed out 3Tech in that list too btw. Nobody is taking advantage of the double teams Brown is receiving.

getting three starters out of the draft isn't out of the question. finding another two of those guys in free agency is doable as well.

iirc zach kerr is on a cheap two year deal and is playing extremely well. i'd just as soon let him start, bring in a cheap kyle-love-like vet to rotate and put defensive money into upgrading linebackers and the secondary.
