Kinda with how Rhule was the top coaching candidate Tepper didn't let him go, I can see this being either Ireland or Colbert and Dave will do what he needs to and bring one in.

I don't think it will be a young aspiring GM type (Cowden) but am a fan.

If Jerry Richardson or Marty Hurney we're looking for a successor, then I think somebody like Cowden or Kirchner might have a chance.

Since it's Tepper and Rhule, I'm not so sure.

Here's the 49ers bio on Peters: link

Side Note: He looks like Joe Person's brother.

Interesting timelines for him that correspond with both the Patriots prime dynasty (2003-2008), Broncos defense/SB run and then the 49ers build/run with Mike Shanzohanzo.

Really good track record, curious to how much impact he had.

For what it’s worth, it appears Broncos fans really want him back.

49ers confirmed Adam Peters went and scouted QB Zach Wilson in person this year. :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

49ers should be looking into QB prospects. Jimmy G seems to be injured all the time and Mullens td match his int.

Having a player he use to coach becoming his defacto boss?  Not so sure about that.

Wouldn't read too much stock into that connection but Rhule was a graduate assistant (more like peers) and that was 20 years ago. Plus reading into Tepper's structure here is that Rhule and whoever the GM winds up being will be more like peers than the GM being the "boss" of the HC.
