If Cam were white not one of these people would say anything and the word hater wouldn't even cross their lips. Never has one Panther represented and symbolized so much more than himself and playing than has Cam.

if cam was white you wouldn’t instinctively check for your wallet every time the camera cuts to him

his longest completed pass this year went 58 yards through the air. the longest in the nfl this year traveled just 6.4 yards farther than that. the problem is his wide receivers (the worst group in the league btw) cannot separate before the protection breaks down. it’s speeding up the process, defenses have keyed in on that, and it’s snowballing. there are plenty of quarterbacks who aren’t facing questions about their arm strength despite not being able to sling it as far as cam newton in 2020.

one would think you people would know what it looks like when someone’s out there actually throwing with a wet noodle for an arm after a full season of checkdown teddy but i guess not.

Logic doesn’t apply when it comes to cam you should know that

He just literally skipped a pass on that third down play.

His shoulder is shot.

every quarterback in the league throws passes like that. from patrick mahomes all the way to teddy bridgewater. fortunately for those guys we don’t pretend that it’s happening every play when it does happen. he is completing 65% of his passes operating in one of the worst (if not the worst) situations for a quarterback in the league. it’s why when f150s call for the backup their cries haven’t been heard. cam is still the starter despite having already been eliminated from the playoffs.

they absolutely do. i encourage you to watch more than just sportscenter highlights.

He doesn’t I shut his ass down earlier this week whenever he as spouting the same nonsense and gave him a highlight reel of completed passes from cam and asked which one looked like his shoulder was shot?

he conveniently disappears whenever he has a game like at sea or the Houston game and comes in to every cam thread an harp on 2-3 missed passes.

    • New season new teams. Everyone we face has improved their team as well. There's now a full season of tape on Canales's offense and Bryce running it. When they win 7 games I will become a believer.
    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
