Rhule better make the playoffs next season

Between the decision to sign Teddy, which regardless of contract length, is one of the worst dollar-for-dollar signings in the history of our franchise, and then his decision to be a fuging tryhard and beat a completely unprepared, limpdicked WSH team and drop us from 3 to 8 in the draft for no fuging reason...  he's on a very short leash for me.  I don't want to hear poo about a winning culture.  Winning culture isn't winning a 5th game in the 16th week of a 17 week season...  you can save that poo.

Bottom line, you better fuging hit on #8 with a Pat Mahomes-like impact, or you can count your fuging days as coach here.

"The Process" dictates something around .500. Well be somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7. Year three is when we're truly ready to make some noise. That if "The Process" works in the NFL and that's TBD.

Ahh yes, I recall the 76ers of the NBA's process as they toiled away at the top of the lottery for years, only hitting on like 2 of 7 lottery picks, and those 2 guys have only been good enough to get them to lose to teams they shouldn't once they get to the playoffs.

That's typically how I expect "The Process" to play out.

I say playoffs or bust next year, bc despite talent deficits, this team could've made the playoffs this year with a competent QB in place, and again, that's all on Rhule...  he better find a QB this offseason, period.

I've been telling people it's possible that even if we do things right this offseason, it's still possible we might have a worse record next year.

Don't really think anybody wants to hear that, and I can kind of understand, but it's valid.

Not only could I see it.  I anticipate it.

We just went 5-11. If we do worse than that, there are going to be SERIOUS and very warranted questions about whether or not this Rhule experiment is going to work out.

    • I was more inclined to say fire rod last year than this year. I still think we are lacking significant talent on this team. Without chatty, our defense has old man burns who is washed, ghostbear who is a one-way player, orlov who makes numerous awful turnovers each game, a solid walker, and slavin. I think we are all definitely mad that nikishin didn't play, but we weren't winning this game with them anyway. The entire team came out flat, which is inexcusable at home down a game. If rod couldn't fire them up, I don't think any coach in the NHL does.  Florida is the worst possible matchup for us because they play very similar to us but are better at doing it. It sucks we're going to get swept, but I honestly thought this team was a fringe at best playoff team once we traded away mikko
    • The system isn't the problem. It's decision making.
    • This is his ceiling. It’s over.  Guy will not adjust.  Guy is done.
