As to Gettlemann, that argument is now over. He was far more successful as GM here than Marty was. Their win-loss records make that clear, and now any chance Marty had to catch up has gone out the door along with him.

You can try to make the idiotic argument to credit Marty for Dave's success if you want, but I have no interest in reading it. It's one of the stupidest things that gets posted on this board, but even if it gets posted a hundred times more, it doesn't matter.

Now, if you still want to spend a million words trying to defend Marty just so you can try to tell yourself that you're smarter than the other people on this board, feel free. Personally, I find egotists like that boring which is why your posts don't interest me. IMO I believe the top 4 candidates for the GM position should be: (1) Joe Schoen  (2) Ed Dodds  (3) Adam Peters  (4) Jeff Ireland! IMO That it should be in that Order!
