Dodds is out

I said the other day we could be headed down the road of the Browns the last 20+ years. I’m really starting to wonder about Tepper not knowing much about owning a team. Everyone was for him just because he has money and can outbid people, that sh!t don’t matter in the NFL.

Why do people freak out over this? What makes Dodds right? If he didn’t like the job, that’s his prerogative, but it doesn’t make our organization stupid for wanting a different type of approach to this position.

Dobbs might not be staying in Indy though.

If you're looking for a true GM role with full roster control and the power to hire/fire a coach then we're not that. That's the reality. A lot of GM candidates aren't looking for a committee approach to implement Tepper and/or Rhule's philosophy. They want to build an organization to implement their philosophy.

When we fired Hurney before the season ended, I figured we'd move quickly. After the massive list of interviews, now I'm thinking that Tepper and Rhule might be struggling to find someone willing to be their third wheel.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
