Who's your favorite current Panthers player?

Poor McCaffrey being injured making people forget he's currently the only bona fide star on the team. Burns and Moore should be there but haven't received the national attention they deserve (highlighted by their zero pro bowl/all pro bowl nods). But McCaffrey was the talk of the nation in 2019. Despite having crap qb and O line play, he was the most impressive offensive player in the league. I won't begrudge anyone for picking anyone else; there are a couple good candidates. But if McCaffrey stayed healthy, I have to think he'd have a lot more than a few honorable mentions on here. And if we're fortunate enough to nab a great qb, I bet he'll remind people very quickly in 2021.

I'm going to be 100% transparent. I haven't been investing the time the last 2 years that I normally have. Not just due to our team, but the NFL as a whole.

Generally I'm defense kind of guy. So elite pass rushers get a nod. - here is looking at burns

I generally have a 2nd on defense...normally our of the linebacking group...this year, my 2nd defensive guy would have to be Chinn.

Then I also have 2 on the offense.

CMC is still the most impactful player we have on offense. Then give me some Moore! (see what I did there?).

    • He didn't actually make the playoffs. We had several opportunities to clinch on our own and crapped the bed. We had to wait for Atlanta to win to get us in. We had the tie breaker in a poo division that had 3 teams finish 8-9.  If you go back and look at the games we played, we weren't a dominant offensive team under him as an OC. We beat the Jets 13-7 and barely beat the packers after they failed to convert multiple red zone trips. We relied heavily on converting 4th downs. DC was also extremely slow at recognizing trends in game and was really lacking with clock management.  Was there progress this year? Yes. But most of it was on the defensive side of the ball. Our offense was stagnant with a couple of exceptions. Any improvement from Bryce was minimal and he kept insisting on XL over Coker, and even RB distribution instead of going with the hot hand.  He may be building something, but I don't think we've seen enough to know what that is. It could go either direction. If he insists on being OC, then without a noticeable improvement, yes he needs to be on the hot seat like any OC would. The more jobs you take on the more you have to be judged on. I think he would have a longer leash if he hired a true OC and just focused in being HC.
    • zero percent suprised Luke is a nice guy irl, have never heard anything differently from anyone that's met him.  I have heard mixed reports on Smitty I know one guy on here got to know Deangelo Williams and J stew pretty well back in the day when they used to host events and he said they were nice iirc  I can't imagine Jordan gross is a bad hang, he's hilarious
