I'm not talking about hypotheticals.

Here's a tidbit from reality:

Love was a healthy scratch for the Packers all through the regular season while Tim Boyle worked as the backup to Aaron Rodgers, and the same has been true during the postseason.

Jordan Love: No action as a rookie

I'm not contesting that Love was inactive. I'm saying it was Covid protocol. The fact that Boyle was a game day backup doesn't mean that the Packers saw him as second on the depth chart which is what you assert. It certainly doesn't mean that after one non preseason he has been 'beaten out.'

So you think Watson would rather stay in Houston than go to the Panthers?

I think that’s when things will get interesting . Right now it’s not something he has to decide.

He has to first actually get the team trade him. (They’re still saying they won’t).

Then the Jets have the first shot. If they pass it then goes to the Dolphins. If the Dolphins and Jets pass then they have to go back to Deshaun and say hey, The teams you want aren’t calling, but here’s XYZ team.

This is where the Panthers and others come into play and that’s where I believe his relationship with Cam will be a factor in that decision making process. If he’s done with Houston then yea he may decide that Cam had his own experience and his will be different and he decides to come here anyway as Zod has pointed out, he’s a grown man and can make his own choices.

What you are saying is obvious bullshit. They didn't reduce the reps of their first round selection for covid protocol. That doesn't make a lack of sense on any level.

If you aren't active you aren't second on the depth chart. Second on the chart means one simple thing. That you go in when the 1 doesn't play.

MIA and NYJ will also have the option to make such better offers than we can, regardless of what Watson even wants.

Will be interesting to see how it goes.

I'm not sure it matters.

The Texans are pretty well dug in on their front.

I think they either convince him to give their new coach a chance or they trade him. I think they trade him, but not until draft night, and I think they maintain no interest in trades until then..  I don't think it is in their interest to force a lengthy holdout.  His value declines as they do, and I don't think that bad a team can afford to just let such an investment sit out.

Sorry we all have our own opinion, don’t really care if you like it or not.

It isn't an opinion on if Cam has a legacy or not, lol. He clearly has had an impact and the very fact we are talking about him in such a huge proportion of threads indicates he has a legacy.

If you want to argue his legacy is largely meaningless I think you'd be wrong but to argue he has no legacy at all just seems like bitterness or worse.

Inactive for an entire season due to Covid...

I'll be back later. I'm gonna be laughing for a while 😆

God you're .a real dummy aren't you? I guess if you're determined to misunderstand I will leave you to it

Well, I'm not the one saying brilliant things like "just because they put him second on the depth chart doesn't mean they view him as second on the death chart" 😆

    • I hate seeing this. I'm not sure he was ever going to make it in the NFL without the injury but that injury knocked FSU out of the college football playoffs and cost him and them and opportunity on the biggest stage in college sports. The injuries are the worst part of this game.
    • I don't know what Texas A&M was doing with their edge rushers. They had two freaks in Scourton and Shemar Stewart and yet instead of turning them loose they asked them to play 20 lbs overweight and just set the edge. That's full-on coaching malpractice at any level. Much was made about Shemar Stewart's lack of sack production, but while he wasn't my favorite prospect this year a lot of that was clearly what they were asking him to do. The good news with Scourton is that, unlike Stewart, did manage to be a huge factor as a pass rusher despite this and despite playing 20 lbs overweight. If he can stay around 260-265 it should help him re-gain some of that explosiveness from his Purdue days.
    • I did, but again we're aware of the practice in college of inflating height/weight as well as what is considered normal and his freshman weight tells a lot. There was a recent Raw Room episode where at one point they were discussing putting on their "big boy weight" when they go to the pros. It's common for guys to have to slap on 20lbs over the summer, but King Dunlap mentioned having to put on 30 and how much of a toll that took on his body. That makes the idea of putting on 50 at the college level even harder to believe. I've got experience with cutting weight and that type of drop sounds just awful... and that's even if doing it healthy and not just turning yourself into a piece of human jerky. Having to add 50? Noooooo thank yoooou. I can understand wanting to take Scourton at face value, but we didn't take Bryce at face value either (and for good reason!). Give the recently posted videos a shot. I watched the one you linked even though I've already seen it, so why not extend the same courtesy? I think you'll find yourself getting more excited about his Purdue tape than you will being irritated by what you believe are false narratives being pushed. 😄
