Any specific players?

There are a lot of good OTs in this draft. Wouldn't surprise me if a very good one slid to our 2nd rounder. Maybe a Mayfield or Cosmi or Eichenberg. If we think there's a potential starting LT on the board we should draft him. IOL guys would be Wyatt Davis, Trey Smith, Josh Myers, Creed Humphrey, etc.

So much QB talk, including 1st round pick talk on the board, I want to see who you think we should target in rounds 2 and 3

Assume we use our 1st rounder on a QB, whether its by draft or by trading for Watson.

Greg Newsome CB Northwestern

Dillon Radunz OT ND st.

are two guys I'm really looking at in round 2

Not being critical of the OP, but until we go through free agency, it is impossible to have any idea.   I want a LT in the second--at #39 (no Greg Little comments, please) we should be able to get a good T this year.  What is interesting to me--if they are going to move Moton to the left side, will we take a RT?  There are some good ones.

Yep. All of them. Sign em up. Draft starters then draft backups. This team is so overdue for a talent infusion on the line.

I really want to see us land at least one of the following players in the 2nd and/or 3rd round...

Walker Little

Alex Leatherwood

Wyatt Davis

Trey Smith

Dillon Radunz

Jalen Mayfield

Should be some very good OL prospects in the 2nd and 3rd this year. 4th/5th might be a good place for a DB.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
