DeShaun Watson is a superstar and I had to google Chad Wheeler. You can figure out how the two are different from there.

The former Panther that shall not be named on this board wasn't a superstar when he made national headlines for putting a hit out on his pregnant girlfriend and having her murdered.

ESPN is in the business of selling advertising...

...Deshaun sells -- Chad does not.

Heck never even heard of Chad Wheeler before right now...

-Domestic dispute by no-name player

-Sexual misconduct complaints filed by multiple women by a marquee player that's already been in the headlines for weeks.

Which one is the news driver?  Hmmmm

I’m telling you these people hate DW and have already proven him guilty. I’m really shocked right now.

Okay.

I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong, I'm saying that DeShaun Watson stories will get alot more attention than Chad Wheeler stories for obvious reasons.

Yeah but no evidence, if they are going off those texts this will be over quickly.

Great point, Lexie.

ESPN actually waited over a week to even mention Chad Wheeler beating his girlfriend.

If ESPN's first comment was at 7 am, it would imply they waited 8 hours after the story broke and was all over social media, which I actually doubt.

No idea on Chad Wheeler - the fact I had to google it suggests how well that story has been covered 😕

Bish please, I've been saying lets wait for the facts all day. I've been on the DW trade since all this trade talk started.

Having to explain to you why a story about DeShaun Watson, a Superstar, sells better than a story about a no name O-lineman is silly tbh. It's quite simple.

You have heard what the 3rd complaint is, right?  MUCH more than rubbing and exposing.

That's just an idiotic excuse.

Not an excuse...

...simply the truth.

    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
