You are looking at this like he’s already guilty. This all depends on if they have damning evidence. Not just text screenshots that say “sorry about earlier.” That doesn’t do anything. The lawyer says they do but that lawyer is also a liar and total freak show. If they don’t have evidence this turns into a he said/she said situation.

I think Watson's camp needs to slow roll this as long as possible unless they know there is evidence. If there is than I could see them coming out and saying Watson has an addiction or whatever. But you don’t come out and say that until you know for sure they have evidence. It’s an extremely fuged up situation. I just hope none of this is true for everyone’s sake.

Normally I am with you on the evidence front but man how do you get 20+ women to basically all tell the same story?   It doesnt look good

I have no idea if he's guilty, and I'm not saying he is.

Having 24 accusers looks bad, but that's not a guarantee of guilt in itself.

I am saying though that if his defense comes out explaining rather than denying, that's going to be significant.

It doesn’t matter. You need evidence to convict in criminal court.

Who is talking about criminal court?  I am speaking in more public opinion and in turn the NFL.  If he does get criminally convicted who knows what happens.  Does it make it to trial, does he plead, how many charges will he get?  Its still really early in the process but I have to think the NFL dings him after their investigation

You’re jumping into a conversation where someone asked me why they would cut him when I said I could see the Texans cutting him if there is damning evidence that gets leaked to the public or indictments come down. I used the example of the Patriots cutting Hernandez two hours after his indictment/arrest.

What are the odds that criminal charges enter the equation at some point?

Let's put the over/under at 50/50%...

...what say ye?

Looks like explaining to me. Link

The not denying any sexual activity stands out. Looks like a long drawn out clusterfug.

Yep, extremely weak stance after all of these lawsuits and claims continually piling against him.

Still completely up in the air. It reeks. The only thing I know for certain is he at least had terrible judgement in regards to allowing this to be this bad. If you are rich and famous there are paths to CYA while not being a complete poobag of a human. The rest will have to wait because nothing else can be proved yet. So completely crazy and it just keeps going.

I just recently read where the lawyers will not release the names of the plaintiffs to Watson's lawyer.  They are building up a frenzy in the public eye before the defense has an opportunity to investigate all these claims.

I find it odd that 2 weeks ago not one woman stepped up and said something.  Now there are over 20.  They all woke up one morning from a dream and decided to tell their story.  The original plaintiff tried to extort money from Watson for her eternal silence.    Also, I read where Watson had them sign a non-disclosure statement sometimes before and after their encounter.  This will be interesting if that is true.

I think there is a medium here.  It's less than what really happened but more than what Watson is saying.

I do believe the Texans help round up these women probably with the hint of receiving some financial benefit.
