DJ is a legit NFL receiver.  He may end up a star if we can get an actual NFL QB to throw him passes.

Imagine what his production would look like if he was in KC instead of Tyreek Hill.  He would terrify NFL defenses.

The film pretty clearly shows it's the former and not the latter, at this with respect to the circumstances around this specific statistic this past year. How many times did we see DJ, Robbie, Curtis, etc have to slow up to catch downfield passes?

It's because Teddy sucks at throwing the deep ball. It's almost always underthrown creating a contested catch situation even when the receiver was open.

It’s because he has to wait on Teddys underthrow to come down so he can fight back towards it.

This was allegedly his weakness coming out of college. Now he's good on short stuff, a YAC monster, and a deep threat all on one. And he's not even 25. Lol. He's getting paid, hopefully in Carolina.

I don’t get how underrated DJ is amongst this fanbase. You give him a competent qb who can throw deep and he’s a 1500+ 10 td type of receiver. Top 5.

Tepper has the cash, I'm not worried about it at this point. Right now they have to be thinking ahead on Brian Burns and DJ bc those guys are clearly our most talented first contract guys.
