There’s this thing called confounding variables. Fields is far and away the best qb osu has had. How cardale jones player has no baring nor provides any indication on how fields will play. What’s next, should we round up every player named John and you can tell little Johnny how good he‘ll be in the league? Ik let’s start sorting people by birthday months! Data clearly shows if you’re born In February you’re going to bust!

I'll buy coaches can have a huge impact on players, and so to that end, schools can be better or worse at producing players of specific positions.  But I don't think you can assume that a player will be bad from his school, particularly over his tape, and especially if he's the first guy out of a new coach's system.

There's only really one or two schools you could say have a good track record in last 20 years with producing multiple decent NFL Qbs.

Most of those Ohio State QBs weren’t even drafted, USC has legit bust like Sanchez Leinart and Darnold.
