All Time Favorite Moment(s)

Jake to Moose in the Super Bowl, beautiful bomb, Moose  breaking away and then the camera cuts back to Jake telling a Patriot "I got ya on that one you motherfugger."

And second place goes to Steve Smith's catch and collision and collision and collision and collision and touchdown run. He broke six tackles, outran another and shot down the field for a TD. At the time I swore he had hit all 11 Texans and was looking for another defender to shake.

I'll go back to the second year in 1996 when we beat San Francisco twice to win the NFC West.

My first Panther game was the game against Pittsburgh where Chad Cota intercepted Cordell Stewart in the end zone and we clinched the NFCW title..  My family went at the last minute and ended up getting scalped tickets.  We were in the same end zone.  It was one of the most insane loudest moments in my life.  The stadium was shaking and all I could think of was the walls of Jericho.

I think X-clown was my favorite moment as it put Steve Smith in the realm of greatness.

Watching us put 300 yards on TB was an amazing game.

Another personal favorite was watching Cam score on the 51yd run against TB in 2011.   I was at that game with 9 family members and we were staying in a home in the mountains for Christmas.  I flew in from Afghanistan that morning.   What a great game and started my Christmas holiday off perfectly.

Yeah that was great. I thought about listing that moment as well.

What everyone else has said....  but let me throw in this:

London in 2019

Wandering around the city, no matter where you went (and we wandered A LOT), you were never too far from running into other Panthers fans also celebrating a bit of vacation combined with supporting the team.

Top 3.

Playoffs vs Cards, after Luke gets the pick 6, the stadium was so rocking from everybody jumping to the song "Kernkraft 400", my booth was shaking like I was on a boat - very surreal.

#2. 2013 when Ted Ginn scores with 1 minute remain against the Pats on MNF. that's when the Panthers and the city came alive for the next several years.

#3. Against NYG when Gano hits a 62 yard FG to win the game that nobody thought he could make.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
