I still haven't figured out how to embed a tweet, but:

Phil Snow Press Conference / Twitter

Horn has high football IQ, is really big, fast learner, nailed the pre-draft phone interview- was eager to cover Juilio and Mike Williams.

Chinn has been a safety his whole life so he's transitioning well.  Last year we played him front to back, this year we'll play him from the back up.  They're still going to move him around, blitz him.

Hassan went to Temple as a corner but flourished as DE, he can do a lot of different things.

Shaq is bigger/heavier went from 225 to 235.

He felt Keith Taylor was a 2-3rd round talent and was surprised he fell to us (Do we actually have depth at CB?)

Burns is 22 and was younger last year than all the rookies we brought in.

Horn and Taylor fit right in as if they've been in the NFL a long time.

Donte has exceptional movement and ball skill, working on consistency.  3 picks in 400 snaps...could be 6-7 ints at 1000 snaps.

We are base 4-3.

I saw it on youtube live.  I think we got a steal in Taylor.  He mentioned him a few times and I think he's very happy with what he has shown in OTAs.

He did say we'll see how good they are once the pads go on.

I didn't catch who asked the question about Sam but I thought it was a stupid question since Snow is the DC. Outside of knowing Sam as a Panther I am sure he not going to comment on his ability and was smart to say so.

I know right?  I thought the same thing.  He was very gracious.....uhhh, you need to talk to the offensive coaches about him, I see him at breakfast.

As I think about this, combine his increased reps this year, contract year,  better coverage from the other side and increased pressure from the new DE...oooh shivers.

Better coverage on the other side will arguably put more pressure on him.

If you draft a CB in the top 10 and he doesn't travel on your defense, you fuged up IMO.

Yeah Horn is a press man CB. He will go cover whoever Snow tells him to cover. Definitely a waste to try to make him play zone…

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
