I've lived here my entire life and only had it a few times. It's just fried chicken. The guy is cashing in on insane real estate values and can now retire with at least a million dollars in profit off the sale. Just go up to the 76 station one block away if you want great fried chicken.

Forgot to mention, the whining in their post about labor/coin shortage and food quality could all be solved easily. Accepting credit cards would increase revenue by 30%-50% in the first year, which would allow them to pay competitive wages to get employees and afford higher quality chicken. This guy is cashing out and trying to make it sound like he was forced out rather than admit he's going to make a killing selling the property.

Well the chicken part is subjective so I will not argue. Where do you get the million dollar figure?

He owns/inherited the land from his father. It's currently valued at 1.7MM. That building hasn't been measurably improved since his father died, so while he'll pay out the ass in taxes, he'll still probably clear a million bucks.

There are three parcels he owns in that small area, and together they're valued at 1.667MM or something like that.

    • Looking like it might be game 7 for Pitt and Phi. Philly is spent. I like more rest for the canes
    • Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season
    • Kurb is still alive and well.  I’m still friends with him on all of the social media.  He truly is a great man!  That’s my bro!  He always looked out for me since the early days of the huddle.  It definitely makes me sad that he just quit posting here, but that’s life.  He still shares his takes on social media and X, but a lot of the huddle vets just grew tired of this format and the environment, I guess?  It’s a lot of guys that were valuable contributors here that just stopped posting but are still alive and passionate Panthers fans.  Blindsite used to post huge write-ups and was a well-respected poster and then just disappeared.  We had one of these type threads several years ago and he checked back in and explained he just lost the motivation to stay active here.  It was amazing hearing from him again…   I signed up in 04 after coming over from the Charlotte.com boards and been here ever since.  (For those that don’t know - this is Proudiddy - had to change the name very recently due to ‘ol tootsie roll penis and the bad press 😂).  I’m forever thankful for all of you, even those who I haven’t had the greatest history with, I still appreciate yall.  Many have come and gone, both figuratively and literally, and that has put a lot into perspective over the years.  I went from a young, newly married, wide-eyed twenty year-old guy with a baby on the way, to a now forty-two year-old guy, recently divorced and newly re-married guy with my oldest baby now an adult and 5 more kids since.  And what ride it has been!  You guys have been a much bigger part of my life than I really care to acknowledge.😂
