More Go Routes

Small ball with Darnold is not going to work. We have no choice but to attempt way more go route passes than last season. We have to go over the top for huge plays.

Rhule was thrilled with bringing in Teddy and Rhule thought that TB's agent would have negotiated for more in the contract.

QB-wise Marty Hurney was wrong about washed up Jake, Matt Moore, Pickles, and TB. He's part of the reason we haven't accomplished much as a franchise.

Teddy fell apart at the end of last season.  He was benched the last game  Even Teddy says he shouldn't have kept playing after the KC game.   His level of play was part of it.  He had a career year, and unfortunately, it wasn't very good.

We ran plenty of go routes last year, we just didn't have a QB who could throw them.  Defenses realized this after a few games and just stopped covering it.  In some cases literally.

As long as it's not the old Panther's offense of yore where half our PA plays were just: "PA -> all go routes."

With our speedsters not named Steve Smith of Keary Colbert, and Kris Mangum, or whatever it was at the time. Just a joke to defend and led to Jake getting crushed far too often for a massive loss.

Teddy didn't have the arm to hit deep Go routes often so defenses did not give Robby and DJ as much cushion on underneath routes. Darnold hopefully will prove able to launch a few of these and keep defenses more honest. This will also help our run game!

He's probably going to get a bunch of opportunities because defenses will be blitzing the crap out of him.
