I'm not sure if I like this or not. JB is better than the last few coaches the team has had. But at times it seems Clifford is still coaching with the way they give up open 3s. But if the deal is done, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Don’t fret too much…it’s easy to fire a coach…this keeps him here in case he’s ends up being great

He's consistently developed players and that is something that we have never experienced as Hornets fans.

The reason it seems like Clifford is still the coach and they are giving up 3s away because the roster was still the same as far as defenders in the paint.

He's the only coach we've had that makes me feel optimistic for the future.  When we were healthy last year, we were dangerous.  We are still a couple of years away, but we have some young talented players who are improving.

Just need a big, a solid backup pg, and time to develop.  A lot of what we've done recently is for future depth.  JB has done well with what he's had to work with.

Nah. That's still on the coach. Other teams have gone through coaching changes and changed schemes to play better defense with guys that weren't considered good defenders.

The defensive players around the perimeter have to sag to help protect the paint.   You pick your poison.
