C Matt Paradis walked off the field during 11-on-11 drills. No update yet.

Pat Elflein was taking the 1st-tm center work in team. Will have to check on Matt Paradis, whom I’m not seeing.

Offensive lineman Mike Panasiuk just made a nice play ... at DT.

Ian Thomas just made a nice catch in the end zone. Pass from Sam Darnold.

Bravvion Roy with a big stuff during 11-on-11s. Broke through the line. Rodney Smith on the other end of it.

Matt Rhule says Robby Anderson is in Florida still dealing with a family matter. Matt Paradis had some back tightness, but doesn’t seem to be a concern. He’s been excused from tomorrow’s practice for a separate personal reason.

Sam Darnold to Ian Thomas in back of EZ during red zone drill. Came shortly after Darnold connected with Dan Arnold. Obviously, more TE production this year would be ideal.

Sean Chandler stuffs run. Defense celebrates. Don’t know yet how likely it is he makes roster, but he’s made plays this camp.

Well here's Tim Weaver of Panthers Wire. Today's quote is on the "sixth man" of the OL:

Dennis Daley ran with the first-team offensive line

Another player who was absent today was starting right guard John Miller, who got a veteran’s day off. Taking his place with the first-team offensive line was Dennis Daley.

Daley has lined up at just about every different position up front since he was drafted a few years ago. That versatility makes him more valuable than any other backup lineman on the roster. If any starter goes down during the season, Daley could be the first man up to take their place.

Might be the best use of a decently skilled but seemingly fragile player.

Getting a bit more excited about the oline and this team overall.   Still thinking wildcard. 10/11 wins

The LB Corp is still a problem. Teams might be able to run on us.

TBH, this is the least news and information we have ever gotten from a training camp.  Idk if it's Rhule, but there's never been such little information coming out of camp since the Huddle has been around that I can recall.  TC threads day to day would be 10 pages minimum.  Combine that with the underwhelming Fan Fest, fans being kept at a distance at TC, and I have to guess Rhule is wanting to limit what is being reported.

From what I hear it had more to do with the Panthers PR dept wanting to be the sole source of news.

All well and good, but they need to actually product content if they’re going to do that.

It seems like Voth and team have just been tweeting a handful of times per practice. They all seem to tweet roughly the same thing too.

    • Wasn't talking about Medicare exactly.  Medicare advantage is different.  The one my mom uses is thru blue cross and blue shield.   Medicare Advantage (Part C) | Blue Cross Blue Shield (bcbs.com) My mom has been using it for about six months now.  Before she was using a medigap program run by United Health Care and it paid almost everything, but was costing her 400 a month.  The Medicare advantage plan doesn't cost anything (the premiums are actually paid by Medicare).  Now she does have copayments, some of them for for medicine, but so far, they aren't bad.  Hers also covers dental, which medicare normally doesn't cover.   I will state though that my Mom has Medicare part b (she pays for it, but gets reimbursed by the employer my stepdad retired from).
    • Can revisit when/if Charlotte gets an MLB team. It has been discussed lately and I think Charlotte and Nashville are supposedly high on the list.
    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
