Greg Little has already descended to the Pantheon of other great Hurney 2nd Rounders with Jarrett and Armanti Edwards.

Already? Folks around here have had him tarred and feathered for years now. They are just waiting on the tar to arrive from China.

And at this point, bring Okung back.  But, I'm guessing they didn't bring him back bc I get the impression they felt he was aloof or not "all in" here...  but, he was solid on the field.

Only if he's a backup.

Part time starters we've already got.

Also people forget about the run game.  Moton is really good at that aspect and that also might factor into keeping him on the right.  A lot of run plays are designed to go strong side which is usually the right.

This is a good point. Even if we suck hard at pass protection, these same scrubs may be very solid at run blocking.

Ha. He said imagine Greg Little was good. I imagined something better and honestly more realistic with some easy decisions that many huddlers even hoped to happen.

I’m hoping we go OL in the 1st next year as it kind of means Darnold is good enough and know that’s what we need.

I hope we continue to pick the BPA with our picks.

Unfortunately, Darnold will likely be graded the same he was in NY, without much protection.

But, the NFL is a big boy league, if he doesn't step up, not much we can do with him. QB's that need absolutely perfect conditions aren't likely to lead us to a title anyway.

IF Moore, Marshall, Anderson, McCaffrey and Arnold stay healthy, Darnold will be fine.

No matter what the defence brings, somebody will be single covered. They brought Darnold in because he's more physically talented than Bridgewater and because he's shown the willingness to let the ball fly.

Bridgewater, as good as he was at moving the chains, left so many points on the field because he wouldn't (or perhaps couldn't) push the ball down the field on those shot plays.

I'm confident we'll see a much better version of Darnold here surrounded by those skill players. The OL will be a limiting factor, but unless they're getting pressure instantly every snap we'll be ok.

We are getting pretty close to that right now. One more good draft, with the right FAs thrown in. This could be a really good team.

Drafting well is not a secret. But it seems to be dang hard to do.

It’s a scrimmage.  Wasn’t it the dolphins players several years ago who claimed that their coaches had to tell them to lighten up against us during a scrimmage so we could have the opportunity to actually run plays? And then we proceeded to kick the crap out of them during the regular season match up.

FWIW, I wasn't as harsh on him as many have been.  I lost some hope last season, but I didn't fully give up on him until this offseason/TC.

Believe it or not. I saw a gif of him earlier this month. And he was making a great block. I know...I was shocked as well. But here's the thing. He was at Left Guard. Not sure why? I had to watch it a few times to make sure. But there it was.

So the score is Little 1, the last 3 years 204. lol cuz it's just a little sad.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
