Right now, I don't think I can even guess at how we will turn out for this season.

We have some historically weak opponents.

I'm not sold on our coaching staff yet.

We're taking a roll of the dice when it comes to QB.

We have a lot of really great young talent.

The o-line projects to be okay to really bad.

Defense fields some excellent players, play calling and philosophy were soft and suspect last season. Same guy calling the defense from the sidelines like he was a high school coaching volunteer with a borrowed clip board.

We could be 3-14 or 14-3 before this all shakes out.

Every year I start with the attitude we will be undefeated, and then reality sinks in once we earn that first L. I know we will lose at least one head scratcher, but hope we pull out at least 2 upsets. Feel like the saints will regress heavily and our D will get us more wins than losses this year. Playoffs or a terrible spot in the draft is my prediction.  Don't see us cracking the top ten in the draft after the season.

5-12, could split with the Falcons and go 6-11

if we surprise a few teams and actually trend up 7/8 wins would be nice

9 wins would be great but very surprising

Not sure where you guys get 10-11 wins, that borderline delusional optimism imo

If somebody had told Theodore last season that throwing the ball into the end zone was allowed we could have had 10 wins. I think Sam knows he can indeed throw the ball into the end zone.

    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
    • Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
