I almost believe C is the top need....its depending on Ervs LT play tho... Still not only a starter but a need TWO backups as well.

Id draft OL with my first three picks.

Im there too, in fact early every pick on OL. *One mid-rounder on MLB and one on TE.

Ive quit hoping for OL help, going back to 2017 Ive wanted two OTs each year til 2020 when I lost all hope....(I did have high hopes for Little, but very aware of bust factor)

Not going into NCAA rules cause Ive done that since 2017 as well..... just its harder to find decent OLmen via the draft. Sick of that excuse, figure it out or hire someone/S who can. Tepper got the all the cash apps....

So our 1st, 4th, and 5th rounder?

I think even in one year we have seen Finesser is a trade maniac. I still think C is the top need, followed close by LT......the QB group is otter barf....... If houstons Mills was in this group, he would be 1st QB taken, maybe even the 1st overall.

Plus Finesser could trade future picks, players, plus you get comp picks etc. Honestly they need to win the OL lottery during free agency. Drafting OL will not solve this problem...

KC has a pretty good C who has been injured (Austin Blythe) who is about 28 or so.  Creed Humphries is the starter.  I think we should look to deal a CB for him.  With Taylor coming on, Henderson and Horn and maybe Gilmore for another year or two--do we need Jackson?  Maybe we could get a pick thrown in as well.

If we want value like this, DJax is the way to go. His contract is up and he will want money while we have so many other options at CB. He is having a great year, but I think Reddick’s pass rush is helping our CBs look better. I’d rather spend our money in the trenches vs the secondary. If I had to chose, I’d trade Jackson and extend Reddick. Same reason I wasn’t high on the Robbie contract. We have plenty of options at WR and need to spend money on OL.

I would think we look to move down to recoup some picks.  Fitty is pretty good at this so I am hopeful

Yeah, unless someone great falls to us, I would think we are trading down. We just don’t have many picks and can get good IOL in the 2nd/3rd rounds.

    • He was saying Ron hid when he was cut/traded whatever that was.  I get being resentful, and feeling like that was gutless.  He, and Ron, neither are from the ‘breaking up with someone in a text or email is okay’ generation. That avoidance is seen as a lack of character.  Talking about it on camera how many years later? Why? And it is all one sided he said she said stuff. As he is speaking I am thinking well I bet that ain’t the whole story.    Between this type of stuff and him cheating on the wife stuff some of his shine is wearing off.
    • I was very critical of Ron Rivera as a coach for a range of reasons. But Steve Smith has been playing the victim for years now and it's just not working anymore. We know for a fact that he was disgruntled from the moment we drafted Cam Newton because of his own ego. That says more about him than anything he could say about Rivera. And yes Ron Rivera had a lot of faults. No excuses for it. We were right to move on from him. But ultimately Steve Smith couldn't hold it together with that group the same as he struggled to hold it together under previous regimes. He needs to grow up and accept his own role in the last few years of his Panthers career because there are things he could and should have done differently the same as anyone else. Stop seeking to only shift blame to everyone else and evolve or just stop talking and fade away. This isn't helping anyone and it is certainly not helping his image.
    • A friend of mine was involved in building Steve Smith's house and nearly came to blows with him during the process.  Love Smitty as a player, but I've heard very little good about him as a human being.
